Chapter 365

Chapter 365 She Had Blocked Him

Eudora walked out of the underground garage dejectedly, and the phone in her pocket rang suddenly.

When she took out her mobile phone, the thought of Colbert calling her flashed through her mind, but

then she remembered that she had already blocked his number.

As she looked at the phone screen, Chasel's number was displayed.

She secretly breathed a sigh of relief and answered the phone, "Chasel?"

"What are you doing? Do you want to come out for supper?" Chasel asked her on the other end of the

phone.

Knowing that Eudora was about to return to Kenison City, he wanted to spend some more time with

her.

"Sure, I haven't eaten yet. But you have to treat me today, as I'm broke." Eudora couldn't help feeling a

little bitter thinking about how much money she spent yesterday.

"I'll treat you, but next time, if I get drunk, can you not leave me in a cheap hotel? It's not like I won't

reimburse you for a better place."

God knew how miserable Chasel felt when he woke up this morning and found himself in a cheapnovelbin

hotel.

"Hahaha, it's because I'm broke. Making money is not easy, as you know."

Eudora smiled heartily, only feeling that being with Chasel was extraordinarily relaxing.

The two made an appointment at the food stall, where Eudora invited him to dinner for the first time.

After the meeting, she found a seat at the door and sat down. Eudora ordered some dishes, ordered a

dozen beers, then sat down and chatted happily with Chasel.

"You called me this morning, saying that you had something to do and wouldn't go to the company.

What kept you busy all day?"

Chasel sat across from Eudora, staring at her with a gleam in his eye.

Mentioning what happened today, the smile on Eudora's face obviously faltered slightly, and then she

raised her eyebrows and smiled. "It's nothing, and it's just that I was a little tired after a busy day

yesterday."

Eudora didn't want to mention what had happened between Colbert and her.

"By the way, how much did you spend at Philomel Club yesterday?"

Chasel shook his head somewhat sheepishly and shrugged. He gave her a charming smile and said, "I

was in a good mood yesterday and drank a bit too much. I fell asleep."

Hearing his words, Eudora didn't answer, as if she didn't know how to answer.

"Did Colbert give you a discount, or did he not charge you at all?"
