Chapter 342

Chapter 342 I Am Not a Despicable Person

"I'll go to your company to discuss the details of the wedding with you when I'm off tomorrow."

Eudora seemed calm and composed as if she had let go of everything.

Eudora admitted that she hated the Baldwin family, but since she couldn't take revenge, she forced

herself to let go of her hatred.

Eudora owed Belinda too much, and she wouldn't do anything despicable at the wedding venue to

embarrass Alva, which would only make the Steele family a laughingstock in Kenison City.

As a kind-hearted person, Eudora naturally wouldn't do anything to be so vile and shameless.

"I'll leave it to Corey to handle."

Colbert recalled the time when he and Alva got engaged, and Eudora suddenly appeared on the scene.

Upon learning the truth and knowing that her child would be raised by Alva after birth, she even risked

her life by taking a large amount of medicine to induce an abortion and nearly bled to death.

It could be imagined how agitated Eudora was by that incident.

He didn't want her to suffer again.

"Ha."

Eudora snorted, and her eyes slowly turned to Colbert. "Are you afraid that I will do something to Alva

at the wedding?"

As she spoke, Eudora shook her head with sarcasm and contempt on her face. "I am not such a

despicable person."

After that, she threw the bag of chips on the table, put on her slippers, and went straight to the

bedroom.

The door was slammed shut, cutting off Colbert's gaze.

After a moment of silence, Colbert got up and went to the study to work.

Eudora tossed and turned in bed, unable to sleep. With Wendy's presence, it was even more difficult

for her to adapt.

At midnight, Wendy was already asleep. Eudora was playing with her mobile phone and felt bored, so

she got up and went to the living room to watch TV.

She watched for a while but didn't find anything interesting.

Seeing that it was already past three o'clock in the morning, Eudora lying on the sofa, still couldn't fall

asleep. In the end, she had to go to the study.

However, when she pushed open the door, she found Colbert still sitting at his desk working on

documents.

Eudora was surprised and asked, "It's almost four o'clock; why aren't you sleeping?"

"Are you worried about me?"

Colbert smiled. His expression was as gentle as water.

"Don't flatter yourself, okay? I just think that you occupy the computer, and I can't play games."

It was the best way to relieve stress by playing games late at night.

Colbert looked at the time in the lower right corner of the computer. It was almost four o'clock, but she

still didn't look sleepy at all. Instead, she looked energetic.

"I'm done. You can use the computer now."

Colbert closed the file and got up. He then walked around Eudora to go out and closed the door.
