Chapter 300

Chapter 300 She Lives With Colbert

She had a worried look on her face, and Chasel noticed something was off, so he asked with concern,

"What's wrong with you?"

"Nothing, I just ate too much for lunch, so I'm not hungry now."

Eudora smiled perfunctorily and pointed to the documents on the table, "I'm looking at these files. I'll

finish up soon and go home to sleep."

"Well, that works out. I don't feel like eating, either. I'll stay here with you."

Chasel walked over and sat down beside her, glancing at the documents on her table. "Is there

anything you don't understand? I can explain it to you."

He knew that Eudora had something on her mind, but he didn't ask further. He simply kept Eudora

company quietly through the night shift.

After work, Chasel dragged Eudora to have some late-night snacks before finally taking her home.

Eudora had given Chasel an address across from the Philomel Club, but once Chasel left, she actually

returned to the Colbert's Philomel Apartment.

Originally, she didn't want Chasel to escort her home, but she couldn't resist Chasel's fervent

enthusiasm.

When she entered the apartment, it was pitch black inside. With the dim light from outside, Eudora took

off her shoes, wearily walked to the sofa in the living room, lay down, closed her eyes, and remained

silent.

Her phone rang in her pocket.

Eudora took out her phone and saw that it was Chasel.

"What's up, Chasel?" Eudora lazily asked, resting her head on the armrest of the sofa.

"Where are you?"

"Where am I?" Eudora paused for a moment, not understanding why Chasel suddenly asked this. "Of

course, I'm at home. Where else would I be?"

"I meant, where is your house? I want to come and visit."

Chasel, on the other end of the phone, responded with a slightly elongated tone, as if there was a

deeper meaning behind his words.

Eudora's heart skipped a beat. She sat up from the sofa, thinking, "Does he know something?"

"I... I'm a bit tired and want to go to sleep. Besides, I share the house with other girls. It's not

appropriate for you to come over. Let's talk about it tomorrow if there's something we need to discuss."

She casually made up an excuse to decline Chasel.

"Alright, let's talk tomorrow. Goodnight."

"Goodnight."

Eudora hung up the phone and realized that she had been overly worried. She secretly let out a sigh of

relief.

Little did she know, at that moment, Chasel was standing near the elevator on the second basement

floor of the Philomel Club parking lot.

He tightly clenched his phone, his gaze fixed on the numbers displayed on the elevator floor indicator, novelbin

38!

The 38th floor was where Colbert resided.

So, she was living together with Colbert.
