Chapter 196

Chapter 196 Envy

Belinda considered her a surrogate granddaughter and held her dear. However, she couldn't let

Belinda's favor go to her head, leading her to become arrogant and overbearing.

She returned the car keys to Belinda.

Alva, observing this scene from one side, felt a burning jealousy in her heart.

She knew that Belinda was fond of Eudora, but she never imagined that Belinda would spoil Eudora sonovelbin

much.

Because Eudora arrived at Steele Mansion by taxi, Belinda not only scolded Colbert but also intended

to give her a valuable sports car.

What was the status of the Steele family?

They were the foremost wealthy family in the country, with impressive financial strength and influence.

A car purchased by the Steele family wouldn't cost less than five million dollars.

Although Alva didn't know what car Belinda was giving Eudora, she knew that it would cost at least five

million dollars!

Yet such a generous gift was for Eudora!

How could she not feel envious?

Regardless of her inner envy and jealousy, she had to put on a gentle and virtuous facade and say

softly, "Grandma, you're really kind to Eudora."

"Of course. Eudora is my surrogate granddaughter. When I get old and can't move, I depend on her to

look after me."

Belinda gently stroked her temples, where white hair was visible, and held Eudora's hand. In a kindly

and benevolent manner, she asked, "Eudora, when the time comes, and I can't move, you wouldn't

stop visiting me, would you?"

"What nonsense are you talking about, Grandma? You're still robust, don't say such inauspicious

things." Eudora quickly shook her head, probably because she found Belinda's words to be unlucky.

"Then take these keys and keep them safe. It'll be more convenient for you to visit me often."

She handed the car keys back to Eudora, but Eudora responded. "Keep them, Grandma. They're of no

use to me. I can't drive. I'll tell Colbert to bring me to see you in the future."

"Oh, you can't drive."

Belinda nodded. "Alright then, have Colbert bring you over in the future."

Saying this, Belinda poked Eudora's head. "Still calling his 'Colbert'?"

"What?"

Eudora was taken aback by the sudden question and didn't immediately react.

But the next moment, she heard Belinda saying, "Now that you're my surrogate granddaughter, he is

your brother. If I hear you calling him by his name again, I'll be angry."
