Chapter 190

Chapter 190 Confessing to Eudora

Chasel leaned back in his high-backed chair, his eyes shrouded in mystery as he gazed at Eudora.

"Such arrangements would work, especially since I've been quite busy lately. However, don't worry

about your parents, leave them to me. I'll make sure they stay safe."

The recent charitable event was organized by Kenison City, where all major corporations had to send

representatives.

Among the participants this time was Chasel's father, Laville.

Laville had never liked Eudora, and Chasel arranged for her to go to Ford County deliberately. He

wanted to give Laville a better understanding of Eudora.

He wanted Laville to see that Eudora wasn't just an ordinary girl. Furthermore, he hoped Laville would

accept Eudora.

For this, Chasel racked his brains.

He knew very well that if he accompanied Eudora to Ford County, Laville would likely think it was all for

show.

"Okay, I trust you. But how long will this trip to Ford County take? When do we leave?"

"We leave the day after tomorrow, but we'll be gone for half a month."

As he spoke, Chasel stared unblinkingly at Eudora. "If you don't want to go," he said, "I can find

someone else."

Half a month was enough time for Laville to observe Eudora.

Chasel knew Laville all too well. Given Laville's character, if he knew Eudora would be there, he would

definitely keep an eye on her.

Eudora was inherently kind and hardworking, so after observing her for half a month, Laville would

certainly accept Eudora.novelbin

By the time she returned, Chasel planned to confess his feelings to Eudora.

"I can do it, no problem."

Eudora readily agreed.

Not to mention that she enjoyed doing charity work, but she also owed Chasel a lot. This was a chance

to help him and make up for her debts.

After the two finished discussing, Eudora went back to the secretary's office to continue her work.

They had dinner together after work.

After dinner, Chasel offered to take Eudora home. Fearing that Chasel would discover she was living

with Colbert, she said, "Let me ride a shared bike. I want to get some exercise and lose some weight."

Chasel couldn't refuse, as Eudora insisted on this. So they went their separate ways.

By the time she returned to Philomel Apartment, it was already 8:30 in the evening. The apartment was

pitch-black, completely empty.
