Chapter 174

Chapter 174 Meeting at Felice Restaurant

Eudora slapped a piece of paper on the dining table in front of Colbert. "Let's settle the bill."

On the paper, it read: [large pasta 8 dollars, milk 2 dollars, delivery fee 90 dollars, total 100 dollars.]

Although the large pasta wasn't that expensive, Eudora was a bit of a "swindler."

"Sir, I know you don't have cash. You can pay on credit. Here..." She handed a pen to Colbert. "Sign

your name."

"Why is the delivery fee so expensive?"

Colbert took the paper and asked.

"It's different. I'm your sister and Grandma's surrogate granddaughter. My value has skyrocketed

overnight! It might have been cheaper before, but now I'm a Steele. If the delivery fee were too low, it

would disgrace the Steele family."

She spoke with seriousness and conviction.

Colbert was speechless.

But for some reason, he gave a slight smile and signed his name on the paper.

Eudora took the paper. "Thank you. I'll clean the table, free of charge."

She got up, cleaned the table, and diligently threw the trash into the bin, not noticing the cunning glintnovelbin

in Colbert's eyes.

"I need to go to the office. Stay home. Call me if you need anything."

"Okay, bye."

Eudora nodded vigorously.

She couldn't wait for Colbert to leave.

Without saying anything else, Colbert gathered his things and left directly.

Corey was waiting for him in the car on the second basement floor. After Colbert got in, the car slowly

started and headed toward Sinton Group.

On the way, Corey glanced at Colbert, noticing that he seemed to be in an excellent mood.

Eudora spent the morning playing video games at Philomel Apartment.

At 11:30 a.m., her phone rang.

Picking up the phone, she saw it was Chasel calling. After answering the call, she heard his voice on

the other end. "Eudora, where are you? I'm back."

"I'm at..."

Eudora wanted to say she was at Colbert's apartment but thought it might be misunderstood, so she

said, "I'm at a friend's place. Where are you? I'll treat you to lunch."

"Alright, let's meet at Felice Restaurant."

"Uh... Okay."

Eudora hesitated for a moment because she knew that the food at Felice Restaurant was expensive,

but Chasel had helped her a lot. Even if it was expensive, she had to treat him, so she agreed.

Eudora put down the phone. Just as she was about to turn off her game, the phone on the table rang

again.

She picked it up and saw it was Colbert calling.

"What's up? I'm in the middle of a game."
