Chapter 172 Buying Him Breakfast
Eudora had a good night's sleep and woke up promptly at seven the next morning.
She yawned, stretched in bed, opened her eyes, and looked around, realizing she was in the bedroom.
At first, she was startled, but then she quickly checked herself and confirmed that everything was fine
and there were no signs of Colbert violating her. She breathed a sigh of relief.
"It seems this bastard is really afraid of Grandma."
She couldn't help but smile and finally felt at ease.
After getting up, she freshened up and went to the living room, only to find it empty.
She assumed Colbert was still asleep, so she didn't disturb him. Instead, she rummaged through the
kitchen and refrigerator for something to eat but found nothing.
So, she changed her clothes, went downstairs, had a snack, and decided to bring some pasta and milk
back for Colbert as well.
When she returned to the apartment, she knocked on Colbert's door, calling out, "Hey, are you awake?"
No one answered, and Eudora pushed open the door, only to find the room empty.
Scratching her head, she mumbled, "Where is he?"
"What do you need me for?"
Suddenly, a voice sounded from behind her and startled her.
She turned around and glared angrily at Colbert. "Hey! You frightened me!"
Eudora patted her chest, still feeling shocked.
"Why are you so scared? Have you done anything wrong?"
Colbert was wearing a black dress shirt and slacks, his short hair neat and his collar slightly open. His
stunning face wore a faint smile as he casually rolled up his left sleeve with his right hand.
Although these actions were casual, they seemed somewhat elegant when performed by Colbert.
With his perfect figure, he looked like a domineering CEO from a comic book, and his every word and
action resembled that of a supermodel.
Eudora didn't like Colbert and even somewhat despised this bastard, but she couldn't help being
momentarily captivated by him.
"How can you walk so quietly? Are you a ghost? Humph."
She scoffed and pointed to the dining room. "I just went downstairs for breakfast and brought some
back for you."
After saying that, she headed to the study, asking, "Can I use your computer? Can I download games?"novelbin
"Sure."
Colbert replied.
"Then I'll go download some games."
Perhaps due to successive failures in her plans, Eudora had lost her enthusiasm and felt somewhat
listless. She was not even proactive about going to work.
She entered the study, turned on Colbert's computer, and began downloading games.
