Louis felt his heart sink. He had almost forgotten that Jane had a daughter.
He suppressed his emotions and forced a smile at her. "Your daughter is adorable."
Jane smiled proudly when she heard this. "Yes, Vivian is truly the best gift God has given me. She'sso well-behaved and cute... but also very heartbreaking sometimes."
