Jane suddenly saw how serious Louis was, and even his usually calm blue eyes seemed a bitflustered. Her heart ached and she felt her breath catch in her throat.

Red-faced at the sight, the woman braced her hand and headed to leave the study, only to beconfined by the man in front of her by the wrist.
The man leaned in close, with a slight smirk on his lips, and laughed in a very devilish manner.
"Jane," after saying that, Louis directly kissed Jane's red lips and sucked on them.

Eve thought that Louis would comfort the deceased's family members like he always did before andensure their future well-being. However, after Jane died, everything changed drastically.
Her once cold-hearted son locked himself up in his room; he didn't even step outside once for dayson end. He started drinking heavily every day while missing someone who was already gone fromthis world.
