After King Ducasse left the Lucas family, Cecilia led her men away, but before leaving, she said
something to Martha in a gentle voice.

the doctor was still in the old Mrs. Lucas' room trying to stabilize her condition.
After Martha helped Sam sit on the chair, Eve quickly disinfected, applied medicine and bandaged
Sam.
During this process of applying medication on his wounds, Sam kept biting his lip but never cried out
loud.
After seeing his sweating profusely, Martha said with some distress, "Sam, if you can't help it, just let it
out."
