Chapter 1933

Raiden cast a cool gaze over Estelle who was unconscious, then turned to Lambert, "As the heir to the

Brennan family, Mr. Brennan seems quite fond of acting on impulse."

Lambert's eyes were steely. "If I can't act as I please, then what's the point of being an heir at all?"

Raiden glanced at the bodyguards standing behind Lambert, "So you've brought in the Brennan

family's guards, huh? Is Rella that important to you?"

Lambert was resolute. "I handed Rella over to you. Now, since the contract hasn't been signed and the

agreement is off, I'm here to take her back!"

Raiden shook his head slightly and said, "I've said it before, you won't be taking her with you. She's

staying here forever."

"Let's just see about that!" Lambert said with a cocky grin.

Raiden lifted a hand, and his guard pressed a button on the remote control. Suddenly, the walls around

them flipped, revealing three rows of dark holes. The barrels inside started to rotate, aiming directly at

Lambert and his crew.

Lambert glanced at them dismissively. "Before you think about slaughtering us, let's see if my guards

can send you to hell first."

Raiden frowned slightly, "Mr. Brennan, there's no need to lose your life over a woman!"

Lambert stood his ground, "I could say the same to you, Mr. Raiden!"

Under the fury, Raiden's eyes darkened, and the scar from his lip to his jawline seemed even more

menacing.

Suddenly, a man came out from the elevator behind Raiden. It was Raiden's subordinate, Winston.

Winston, taken aback by the tense standoff, whispered something into Raiden's ear.

Raiden's expression changed drastically as his eyes flickered with calculation. Finally, he looked up at

Lambert and said, "You may take her with you, but you can't leave Zion for the time being. Otherwise,

we'll have to keep you and her here."novelbin

With that, Raiden turned and disappeared into the elevator, leaving in haste.

His guards followed, leaving Lambert and his people alone in the hallway.

Lambert furrowed his brow slightly. He had caught a few words, something about someone arriving.

Who could it be?

Who could shake Raiden to his core?

Lambert didn't dwell on it. He scooped up Estelle and quickly entered another elevator, flanked by his

bodyguards. They swiftly left the building, got into a car, and drove to their villa.

Once home, Lambert laid Estelle on her bed, gently brushing away the stray hairs from her pale,

lifeless face.

Good thing he had saved her in time.

He wouldn't have to feel guilty anymore.

As Lambert gazed down at Estelle, hurried footsteps approached from outside.

Turning to see Evelyn rushing in, Lambert offered a thin smile. "Don't worry, she's fine. She is still weak

and needs rest."

Evelyn's heart, which had been in her throat, finally settled, "Thank goodness, you had me scared!"

Lambert headed downstairs and said, "Your boyfriend might be compromised. Raiden isn't one to let

things go easily. If he wants to leave, I'll help him."

Evelyn nodded immediately, "Okay, I'll find him and keep persuading him."

With a brief nod, Lambert's attention was drawn by one of his men rushing in, sparing Evelyn only a

glance before speaking up.

"Out with it, what's up?" Lambert asked, sitting on the couch.

His man reported with urgency, "Alvis is here!"
