“Of course, it's the marriage certificate!" Charlie chuckled, "We've already had a child, so we should get
married as soon as possible! We'll get the certificate first and then we'll plan the wedding at our own
pace!"
Emily instantly shook her head, "That's too fast. Plus, your parents haven't even agreed. We can't get
married hastily like this."

Emily found this acceptable. They indeed hadn't really spent quality time together. Through dating, they

Knowing that Emily had implicitly agreed, Charlie's thin lips curved into a satisfied smile. He pulled her
into his arms, leaned down to capture her cool and soft lips and gently kissed her.
Emily leaned into his embrace, letting go of her worries and only leaving the tenderness. She closed
her eyes and responded to his kisses.
The man finally received the desired response and felt an overwhelming excitement. The gentle kisses
slowly turned passionate and hot as he carried Emily towards the bedroom.
Emily hesitated for a second, "We haven't had dinner yet!"
“Doing the more important things first!” Charlie's voice was heavy.
“Wait!” Emily regained some clarity, “I've agreed to everything. But when will you give me Kya?"
Charlie's eyes radiated with adoration, "Tonight, I'll give you another Kya!"
Emily's face flushed instantly. She tried to speak but was silenced by Charlie's kiss, "Don't talk about
waiting anymore. At this moment, I can't wait for anything else!"
Emily was placed on the bed, and a cascade of kisses rained down on her. She clutched the back of
Charlie's shirt. Even though it wasn't their first time, every kiss felt different after openly expressing their
feelings.
The dinner they had spent an hour preparing was set aside and eventually grew cold.
Emily woke up just before dawn, hearing the sound of rain outside. The gentle rhythm of raindrops,
typically disruptive, now brought a sense of tranquility to her heart.
Turning slightly, Emily looked at the man sleeping beside her. Her heart was filled with joy.
The man she once despised as a "jerk", and desperately to escape from had eventually won her heart.
And she was willingly head over heels in love with him.
He was just too good to resist!
She had tried to evade him, but failed!
Emily gently touched his face, sighing softly.
The man suddenly opened his eyes, his deep gaze fixed on her. His voice was husky as he said, "I
wake up to find my woman sighing. Do you know how defeated that makes me feel?"
Startled, Emily quickly retracted her hand.
But he grabbed it, “Are you not satisfied?"
Emily shook her head immediately.
“Then why the sigh?’ Charlie lazily squinted his eyes, with a hint of amusement.
“I was sighing at myself!" Emily's eyes were moist as she responded softly.
“What happened?" Charlie asked.
"Someone once told me to take a good look at him, to be careful and avoid getting into a relationship
with him.
But in the end, I couldn't avoid it. I sighed because I felt something in my heart!" Emily replied slowly.
A smile spread across Charlie's handsome face. His hand gently caressed her face. The smooth touch
deepened his gaze. His voice became as deep as a late autumn rain, "At that time, my initial thought
was that this girl is too innocent. I have to control myself, or else I'll have to take responsibility for a
lifetime. But later, I couldn't resist any longer and fell for you. It turns out taking responsibility for a
lifetime isn't as bad as I thought."
Emily couldn't help but laugh, her smile warm and genuine, “I'm so happy!"
Charlie leaned down to kiss her lips, “So am !!"
