Chapter 1686

Chapter 1686

Under the midnight glow, Estelle’s eyes shone as bright as the moon, as she caught sight of him, a soft

smile playing on her lips, “Been waiting long?” “Nope, just got here!” Jonathan’s gaze was tender, as he

took off his suit and draped it over her shoulders, his voice soft and laced with delight, “Have you been

drinking?”

Magdalen chuckled beside them, “Don’t worry, I wouldn’t let Ella get drunk while she’s with me.”

Jonathan nodded slightly, turning to Magdalen, “Where are you going, Ms. Sampson? I’ll let someone

take you there.”

Knowing Magdalen was with her, Jonathan had requested another car for her.

Magdalen smiled, “No need, just take Ella home!”

The driver of the other car had already got out, holding the door open for Magdalen. As she

approached the car, she waved back at Estelle, “Night, gorgeous!”

Estelle thought that Magdalen had had too many drinks!

On the ride back, Jonathan held Estelle’s hand, whispering sweet nothings into her ear.

Neither of them mentioned Antonia even once.

Back home, Jonathan closed the door, scooping Estelle into his arms and putting her on the entryway

table. His gaze intent on her, he leaned in, anxious to lay his kiss on her lips.

Estelle tilted her head back slightly, her eyes fluttering, complaining about the smell on her, she

murmured, “Shower first.”

“Together!” Jonathan mumbled. Unable to bear the thought of parting even for a moment, he kissed her

again before lifting her into his arms and heading towards the bedroom.

Jonathan was especially patient and gentle that night, reminiscent of their early days when they

confessed their love to each other, and he was trying to please her sexually.

The bathtub turned into an ocean, water from all directions soothing every inch of her skin, like the

most passionate of kisses.

The moonlight reflected on the water surface, making the waves glitter.

The tide carried her even deeper into the vast ocean.

The next day, Jonathan woke up and got ready, then gently waking Estelle. “Baby, time to get up,

freshen up, have breakfast and join me at work.” Estelle opened her bleary eyes, “No.”

“C’mon, I need someone to document my expressions during the meeting Jonathan’s hand gently

caressed her face as he chuckled.

Estelle was close to waking up now, laughing at his joke, “I’ll go there at noon, then stay with you for

the afternoon meeting, okay?” novelbin

Jonathan couldn’t resist her sleepy face, he arched his lips upward, “You said the same yesterday, but

you only joined me for lunch and then left. Don’t leave today!”

“I promise!” Estelle nodded, “I won’t.”

“Stay home if you have nothing to do in the morning. I’ll ask Millard to pick you up at noon.” Jonathan

uttered in a low voice.

His seriousness made Estelle wonder if he knew something.

“Got it.” Estelle nodded.

“Good”

Jonathan planted a kiss on her forehead before he got up and left.

Once he was gone, Estelle couldn’t fall back asleep. After freshening up and having breakfast, she

discussed some work matters with Blythe online Blythe, concerned, asked, “Estelle, are you alright?”

“I’m fine. Don’t worry!”

“Clearly, someone’s trying to smear your name, and all the people criticizing you online are just trolls.

Honestly, no one from our crew has a bad word to say about you. Everyone’s defending you and

speaking up for you online You’re nothing like what those posts are saying!” Blythe fumed.

“Besides,” Blythe continued, “Yulia has hired some people to control the comments for you. The

controversy isn’t as heated as it was yesterday, at least”
