Chapter 1685

Chapter 1685 novelbin

Jonathan had been waiting outside for half an hour already. He had arrived early but didn’t tell Estelle,

nor did he call to rush her.

Nate called to inform him that the post on the internet had been removed. It wasn’t clear if it had been

hacked or deleted by the poster.

They had tracked the poster’s IP address. The person must have sensed something was off because

once they arrived, only the belongings left behind in haste.

Jonathan acknowledged the information with a nod, his voice devoid of any emotion, “Find him!”

“Will do!” Nate responded immediately.

“Also, have someone keep an eye on Henson and Norah discreetly to ensure their safety over the next

couple of days.”

“Don’t worry, Mr. Lamont. Millard has already taken care of it!”

A call came in. Jonathan glanced at it, his gaze deepening. He swiftly ended his call with Millard and

picked up the incoming one, “Mr. Jarvis!”

Old Mr. Jarvis sounded a bit somber, “I was just informed that Estelle is being cyberbullied. Is it true?

I’ve had a statement prepared to announce first thing tomorrow morning that Estelle is the successor of

the Jarvis family and that the Macclain family has never parented Estelle for even a day!”

In the past, he was kept in the dark about Estelle being cyberbullied until after the incident had passed.

He had since instructed his men to inform him immediately of any rumors about Estelle on the internet.

“And as for the Crawley family, I’ve never been afraid of dealing with Elton Crawley even at his prime.

The Crawley family is nothing but a bunch of nonentities now!”

Jonathan paused before speaking in his usual calm voice, “Mr. Jarvis, Ella didn’t even tell me about

this. She certainly wouldn’t want you to get involved. If you worry on her behalf, it would only add to her

burden.

Old Mr. Jarvis sounded slightly annoyed, “So I’m just supposed to stand by while she’s being bullied?”

“No one can bully her!” Jonathan’s voice was firm, “Mr. Jarvis, trust me. I’ll take care of this. If I can’t, I’ll

let you know.”

Old Mr. Jarvis remained silent for a while before finally speaking, “Given what’s been judged about

Estelle, has the Macclain family made any moves?”

Jonathan hesitated before responding in a cold tone, ‘Grandpa, let’s just consider Ella to have no

connection with the Macclain family. You’re the only grandfather she has!”

Old Mr. Jarvis understood Jonathan’s words perfectly. He felt both angry and irate, and couldn’t help

but sneer, “The Macclain family used to be famous in J City. No wonder they’ve become down and out

now!”

Jonathan turned his gaze to find Estelle and Magdalen walking out from the 9th Mansion: He told Old

Mr. Jarvis, “Mr. Jarvis, Ella and Ms. Sampson went out for some fun. They just finished, I’m going to

pick her up.”

Old Mr. Jarvis stopped before letting out a wry smile, “She still has the mood for fun after what

happened?”

Jonathan replied lightly. “It’s not a big deal!”

Old Mr. Jarvis chuckled. It wasn’t indeed a big deal, but because it involved Estelle, he was in a state of

consternation

Estelle was alone in J City. The Macclain family couldn’t be relied upon and Gabriel was not around. He

always felt she was weak on her own.

But he always forgot that she now has Jonathan by her side.

“Mr. Jarvis, rest easy and don’t worry about a thing. As long as I’m here, no one can hurt Ella!”

Jonathan assured him seriously, “I will keep you updated if anything happens.”

Old Mr. Jarvis sighed, “Alright, take good care of her!”

“I will!”

Jonathan ended the call, opened the car door, and walked towards Estelle.
