Chapter 1594

Chapter 1594

Jonathan parked his car by the roadside, gently caressing Estelle’s cheek. Under the shadow, his eyes

were deep and tender, “Babe, nothing and no one is ever constant. A relationship between two people

has to go through various tests. It requires a lot of hard work.”

Estelle’s eyes were clear, yet filled with confusion, “As two people spend more time together, their

feelings for each other grow. But as more time passes, those feelings start to fade, right?”

Jonathan gazed at her, slowly saying, “Not necessarily. Look at my older brother and his wife. They’ve

been together for over two decades and they’re still very much in love.”

Estelle smiled and nodded, “Hmm.”

Jonathan bent down to kiss her cheek, “Let’s go home.”

“Sure.”

The next day, the weather was gloomy. When Magdalen woke up, it was already half past nine and her

room was dark and dreary.

Morrison was not in the room, probably got up earlier and didn’t want to disturb her

Magdalen had stayed up late last night and her body felt exhausted. She didn’t want to get up, so she

dozed off a bit more.

It was Saturday, so she didn’t have to go to work.

Morrison was working in the study next door

Around ten, she was woken up by the sound of a phone call. It was from Morrison’s personal cell

phone that he had left in the bedroom.

She picked up the phone. The caller was Antonia

Magdalen had met this girl before. She was the daughter of Morrison’s father’s friend.

The Crawleys were a well-established family in B City with a political background. However, Antonia’s

father chose to focus on business, but their influence in B City was more than that of an ordinary

businessman.

Antonia had been a child star and enjoyed acting. She had moved to the Art Studios in J City for her

studies in March. The Crawley family had asked the Langstons novelbin

to take care of her.

When Antonia first arrived in J City, Momison had taken Magdalen out for dinner with her.

She was a young girl who tried to act mature and sophisticated, but to Magdalen, she was still too

naive.

Antonia’s sweet voice came through the phone, “Morrison, our school is organizing a charity

performance this weekend. I’m not familiar with anyone there and the location is quite far. Can you

come with me?”

Magdalen waited for her to finish and laughed in a husky seductive voice, “Are you looking for my

husband? He’s in the shower. Sure, he can accompany you to the charity event. We’ll both join and

cheer for you. Should we also make some banners?”

There was a pause on the other end of the line before Antonia exclaimed, “Magdalen?”

Magdalen smiled faintly, “Yep, it’s me!”

Antonia quickly replied, “Since Morison is with you, I won’t disturb you guys. I hang up now”

Then she just hung up.

A cold look crossed Magdalen’s face. Anyone who wanted to seduce Morrison would have to get past

her first.

A few minutes later, Momson walked in. He lifted the thin blanket off her and kissed her shoulder. His

scholarly face cared an affectionate expression, “Still pretending to sleep?”

Magdalen rolled over, wrapped her arms around Momson, and smiled brightly, “Done with your work?”

“Almost Momson’s eyes were deep and understanding. “Headache?”

“A little bit Magdalen snuggled into his chest

“Next time, don’t drink so much” Morrison looked down at her, his eyes as deep as the ocean, “If you

get drunk again, Ill be upset”

“Momson, you have nothing to worry about when Estelle is around “Magdalen hummed lightly

“Even if Estelle is around, you can’t be reckless. You tend to get out of bounds when I give you a little

freedom!” Monson murmured softly. He caressed her chin and kissed her gently
