Chapter 1429

This time, Estelle had a really good sleep; she didn't even dream a wink.

When she woke up, the sun was already smack in the middle of the sky, its rays sneaking through the

window, quietly lighting up the room.

The first thing she saw upon opening her eyes were the man's deep-set eyes.

His eyes reflected in hers, dappled with light and shadow. She couldn't help but smile, the corners of

her lips lifting up.

Something stirred in Jonathan's heart, and he leaned in to kiss her eyes, gently sucking on her lips.

"Baby, tell me you love me!"

"I love you!" Estelle replied without hesitation.

Jonathan swallowed, his voice full of charm. "Say it again."

Estelle couldn't help but laugh, dodging his passionate kiss. "Jonathan, don't you ever get tired?"

"I never get tired!" Jonathan bit Estelle's chin and said, "For every time you said you didn't love me, you

have to say you love me that many times more in return!"

Estelle was at her wit's end with Jonathan's persistence when she blurted out, "We have a whole

lifetime; we can take our time; what's the rush?"

Jonathan paused, his eyes full of passion as he looked at Estelle, a small smile playing on his lips.

"Right, we do have a lifetime; we can take our time, as long as you don't go back on your word."

"I won't." novelbin

Estelle chuckled, her eyes glistening and reflecting the sunlight; she looked like an angel.

Jonathan couldn't resist and kissed her again.

Estelle had Mr. Jarvis on her mind, so she didn't linger with Jonathan. After getting up, she went to Mr.

Jarvis's room.

Mr. Jarvis was already awake; his spirit seemed better than yesterday, and he was leaning against the

headboard, chatting with Wade.

Seeing Estelle and Jonathan come in, Mr. Jarvis cheerily said, "Good morning."

Estelle pulled up a chair and sat by the bed. "Good morning! As long as you don't scare me, I'll be with

you every day, saying 'good morning' to you."

"That won't do; when a girl grows up and gets married, how can you be with me every day?" Mr. Jarvis

chuckled and turned to Jonathan, asking, "When are you two going to have the wedding?"

"As soon as I get back to J City, I'll discuss the wedding with Geoffrey and Catherine, and then we'll

come and formally visit you together." Jonathan immediately replied.

"Let's wait a bit." Estelle interrupted Jonathan.

Mr. Jarvis frowned. "Wait for what? You're still worried his parents won't agree? If they don't, I'll go talk

to them myself!"

"No!" Estelle shook her head. "I still have some work to do; let's discuss the wedding after I'm done."

Jonathan laughed, saying, "I'll arrange the wedding; you don't need to worry."

"We're already married; what difference does it make if the wedding is sooner or later?" Estelle

retorted.

"It's different!" Jonathan smirked.

Only after the wedding would people know that Estelle was Jonathan's wife!

Mr. Jarvis scoffed, "Listen to Estelle's excuses; she just doesn't want to deal with the hassle; she

doesn't want to navigate social conventions; nobody knows her better than I do."

Estelle looked a bit awkward; she murmured, "Isn't it good now?"

Jonathan's gaze was full of adoration, and he gently reminded her, "The wedding is inevitable."

"That's why there's no rush." Estelle smirked. "Besides, Gabriel isn't in the country; let's discuss the

wedding when he finishes his mission and comes back."

"Whatever you say." Jonathan had no counter.

Mr. Jarvis snorted, "If you listen to Estelle, she'd probably rather not get married at all!"

That's exactly what Estelle was thinking.

After all, keeping the marriage a secret could avoid a lot of trouble; what's wrong with that?
