“So, what’s your take?” Estelle asked with a hint of sarcasm in her eyes.
Blythe frowned. “When he told me I was the one he loved most, I was almost moved by him again.

Blythe thought for a while and nodded. “Cherish your life; stay away from bad men!”
Estelle couldn’t help but laugh. “Well said!”
In the afternoon, when she got off work, Emily called Estelle and asked her to come over for dinner
directly.
Estelle passed by a dessert shop and bought Kya’s favorite dessert.
“Estelle!” Kya ran over as soon as she entered the door.
Estelle picked up Kya with one hand and walked into the living room with desserts in the other, asking.
“Where’s Emily?”
Estelle passed by the kitchen, thinking that Emily was inside, but saw two tall figures busy inside.
Jonathan, with his shirt sleeves rolled up, was dealing with a lobster. He turned his head and looked
over, his eyes deep and his lips slightly parted.
“Hungry? Dinner will be ready soon!”
Charlie came over with a tomato, laughing, “Jonathan knows you like seafood, so he bought the
ingredients himself today, including king crab and lobster. He’s going to prepare them in different
flavors for you!”
Estelle looked a bit heavy, she didn’t say a word and just continued to carry Kya into the living room.
Jonathan’s lips tightened, and his eyes were deep.
Charlie laughed, saying, “I think Estelle isn’t that angry; maybe if you take the initiative, it might work.”
Jonathan turned his handsome face to the side and smiled with a hint of helplessness, saying, “You
don’t understand her. The more she acts like this, the more it means she wants to keep her distance
from me.”
Charlie raised an eyebrow and asked, “What on earth did you do to make her mad?”
Jonathan took a deep breath and said, “I’ll explain to her.”
Emily came over from the balcony, smiling “Buying so many desserts again? I suspect you’re using Kya
as an excuse to satisfy your own appetite. Be careful, Jonah might chastise you”
“Do I not even have the freedom to eat desserts?”
Estelle put the desserts on the table and opened the cookie box.
“You’ll have to ask Jonah that!” Emily laughed.
Estelle handed a cookie to Kya and changed the subject to, “Are you sure about moving in with
Charlie?”
Mentioning this, Emily felt a headache. She squatted down and whispered, “Help me think of a way to
get Charlie to leave.”
Estelle chuckled quietly “Don’t push all the problems on me you should solve them yourself. But there’s
nothing wrong with living together. You guys can try to strengthen your relationship through thes
