On the alley, he saw something by the road sparkling, shining so brightly.
He walked over, squatted down, and picked up the object. It was a diamond–studded hairpin, clearly a

banquet?
He stood up, having no recollection of the hairpin, but didn’t toss it away either.

lan remained silent, just staring at the hairpin.
Just as Selena reached out to take it, he slowly asked, “Has Penny been here?“?
Selena was startled and her fingers trembled, “What Penny? I have no clue!” Her emotions have been
unstable lately, easily amplified by slight stimulation.
lan instantly saw through her guilt, his face turned gloomy.
“This hairpin.”
Selena tried to snatch it, but lan put the hairpin into his suit pocket.

“No.”
He put the hairpin into the drawer, hearing Jeff say, “I always felt that Penny is not a frivolous woman,
her eyes are clear.”

But all the gifts were given out proactively by lan. Penny never asked for anything.

Beck sat by the bed, handing her a bowl of porridge, encouraging her to eat,
“Have a little to eat.”
Maja took the porridge, lowered her head, and quietly ate.
Seeing her like that, Beck inexplicably felt a pang in his heart.
This was completely different from wanting to be close to the opposite sex. It felt like an emotion
