“Did you find her?”

snake crawling out from a corner.
“How did this get in here?”
The villa got checked every three days, mainly for pests and snakes. It was impossible for a snake to
be there unless someone intentionally put it there.
Selena instructed her staff to catch the snake, explaining, “The inspector must have slacked off
recently.”

Mom, by any chance do you have her?”
Selena’s face changed, forcing a smile.
“What’s the matter? You care about her?”
“I don’t, but she is someone Grandpa admires. Even with all her flaws, if Grandpa finds out she’s introuble because of you, you and Dad are likely to divorce.”
Divorce was something Selena couldn’t accept.
She screamed out, “That’s why I need you to talk to your dad! Tell him not to divorce me!”
“Just let Maja go.”
“Impossible! I’ll make sure that wicked woman’s reputation is ruined!”
She could no longer hide her true emotions, blaming all her misfortunes on Lillian and Maja.
lan frowned at her outburst.
He didn’t want to deal with this any longer, his expression turning cold, “Do what you want, just don’t let
Grandpa find out.”
He didn’t want the Raymond family to fall into chaos again.
He didn’t care about Selena’s business, and he cared even less about Maja.
But Grandpa had taken several hits recently. With Connie’s incident on top, he didn’t know if Grandpa
could handle it.
“You handle it.”
Standing in place, Selena suddenly said, “lan, we can’t have any relations with Lillian. She and her
daughter only bring misfortune.”
