Maja’s office was strangely quiet. She didn’t speak, and neither did Zoey.
After a while, she stood up and told Zoey, “You’ve worked hard; go home first.”
Zoey was taken aback, then nodded.
After leaving the company, Maja went to the Pennyfeather family’s mansion.
She wouldn’t apologize to Carlene, and the board members didn’t back her up at the moment. She
couldn’t fight alone, but she wouldn’t let these people take advantage of her!
She stood in front of Neil’s door, thought for a moment, then gently knocked.
From inside came Neil’s coughing, and Maja felt guilty immediately.

Samuel looked at her. He sincerely said, “It’s a shame you’re married.”
She was more interesting than many rich girls, making men want to conquer her.
