Chapter 1253

Meanwhile, on the other side, even after being helped into the car, Ian was still rigid, especially his

hand, which remained clenched as if still trying to grab something.

Fitch was driving in front, while Tyler sat in the back, keeping an eye on Ian.

His brain was buzzing with anger, "Did you hear what she said? Holy shit, Maja is really ruthless. How

could she say such things? If she really loved Eric, why didn't she just get together with him when he

came back? Why did she give Ian hope?"

Tyler wanted to curse more vehemently, but he just couldn't bring himself to.

Fitch glanced in the rearview mirror but didn't say a word.

The atmosphere in the car was solemn until they dropped Ian off at Greenfield Gardens.

Fitch had the housekeeper put Ian to bed, and then he and Tyler sat in the living room on the first floor,

planning to wait for Ian to wake up.

Nobody spoke during this time, because they really didn't know what to say.

Fitch noticed that Tyler was constantly checking his phone with a frustrated expression, which made

him frown.

"What's the matter? I haven't seen you around lately. Did something go wrong with the script?"

"Don't even mention it. When we wrapped up filming last time, I accidentally slept with a woman. Turns

out she was a virgin, and now she's all over me, hoping that I'll take responsibility for her. I'm so

annoyed, she's like my shadow, following me everywhere. Especially when I go to BlueSky Bar, she's

always there, looking at me with those affectionate eyes. It's unbearable."

Fitch noticed that while Tyler was complaining about the girl, he was also constantly checking his

messages.

"Is she an actress?"

"Just a minor one. She only acted in that one TV show, which I wrote. She said she admires me a lot."

"And she ended up admiring you in bed?"

Tyler was a playboy. He rarely rejected any woman who approached him, as long as she was

attractive.

His taste was impeccable, and the women he'd been with were all high quality and they usually had a

mutual understanding.

Everyone in this industry knew the rules.

So, these women were sensible enough not to bother him afterwards, knowing his free-spirited nature.

But this time was different, Tyler had indeed had too much to drink that night and his action was

borderline coercive.

However, the woman did not resist, clearly she had already been fond of him.

And he vaguely remembered that just before he was about to 'enter', she kept asking if he would take

responsibility for her.

How could she believe the sweet nothings a man whispers in bed? Overwhelmed by desire, he

reassured her, saying yes over and over again, only then did she let him 'enter'.

When he sobered up, he offered her a lead actress role as compensation, but she refused it and

confessed her love for him instead.

At first, Tyler didn't take her seriously. A woman who refused a lead role was clearly greedy, hoping to

stay by his side and take advantage of him in the long run.

His momentary guilt quickly vanished, and he harshly scolded the woman. To his surprise, she just

quietly watched him, not saying a word.

Her silence was even more unbearable than any words could have been.

Tyler decided to leave her alone, not wanting to get involved with such a woman.

If she refused the lead role, then all she got was a free ride.

He thought she would eventually compromise, but when he left the room, she still didn't say a word.novelbin

Half a month later, they ran into each other at a party. He had a few too many drinks and she braved

the rain to buy him a hangover cure, then took him home and took care of him.

When Tyler woke up on her narrow bed, he left a credit card on the table and disappeared.
