Chapter 1219

As soon as Judith left, Maja broke into laughter.

"Poor thing."

Her tone was casual as she leaned back.

Wind didn't argue with her. He was not a man of many words. Instead, he just stared in the direction

where Judith disappeared, as though trying to see beyond the edge of the world.

Ten minutes passed in a blink of an eye. His eyes grew tired from staring, and he finally turned to look

at Maja.

He had to admit that she was beautiful. Even now, in her disheveled state, she retained an aura of

astonishing nobility.

Especially the sympathetic look she was giving him now. Probably no man could resist such charm, a

blend of brokenness and pride.

But his heart had always been for Judith.

Now, Maja was weak. If this man wanted to do something, she wouldn't be able to avoid it.

Wind watched her for a moment, and then slowly reached out his hand.

Just as his fingertips were about to touch her buttons, he heard her speak, "Don't you want Judith to be

entirely yours? If you keep being obedient like this, even when you die, she won't shed a single tear for

you. Are you okay with that?"

The hand Wind had hanging by his side slowly clenched, but he knew Maja was trying to bewitch him.

His fingertips had landed on her button, ready to slowly unfasten it, when he heard her speak again.

"You hate Dylan, don't you? Dylan is too controlling, and he even knows your feelings. Wind, if you

cooperate with me, I am confident that Judith will only rely on you in the future, and her eyes will only

see you."

Maja slowly closed her eyes, a slight smirk playing at the corners of her mouth.

"If you touch me, Ian will find out, and your death will be imminent. Aren't you disgusted to have an

affair with me before your death?"

The color drained from Wind's face, "Ms. Pennyfeather, don't belittle yourself. To have anything to do

with you is something countless men dream of."

Maja's gaze swept over him, her eyes full of innuendo.

"Alright, Wind, then do it. You have a good figure, and I won't be at a loss."

As soon as her words fell, Wind quickly stepped back, dramatically holding his clothes close, looking at

Maja coldly. He was clearly frightened by Maja's aggressive behavior.

She retracted her gaze, pretending to be disappointed.

Just then, Wind's phone rang. It was a text from Judith, asking him how far he'd gone.

[The video I took will definitely be shown to Ian. Don't show your face. I'm protecting you. Wind, you

have to believe that you still hold a place in my heart.]

Wind was pleased by these words. He knew she was lying, but what did it matter? It was enough.

He didn't dare to ask for more.

She was the high and mighty princess of the Sanders family, and he was just a servant.

It was enough.

Taking a deep breath, he strode towards Maja and tore open her buttons.

The sound of the button hitting the floor and Maja's cry rang out simultaneously.

"Wind, if I die here, Ian will be devastated. He won't care who he marries then, and he won't refuse tonovelbin

marry Judith. Do you really want to push the woman you love into someone else's arms? Are you really

that cowardly?"

"What do you know!"

Wind looked at her intensely, his eyes full of struggle.

His mission since childhood was to protect the princess of the Sanders family, even if it cost him his

life.

In front of Judith, his life was worth less than paper.

Maja lowered her eyes, a glint flickering in the depths of her eyes. She suddenly guessed the reason

for his unwavering loyalty.

Just as his lips were about to touch her collarbone.

"What if I say that Judith isn't Augus' biological daughter? You can't betray the Sanders family, but she

isn't a member of the Sanders family."

Her words hit the nail on the head.

Wind froze, looking at her in disbelief.

Maja was deceiving him, just to buy time, but she was very convincing.

"Ian had investigated Judith before. If you don't believe me, you can look into it yourself. If she isn't the

Sanders family's daughter, then you can completely have her, right?"

She lifted her face, her eyes full of amusement.

"Do you still want to touch me?"

Wind pursed his lips tightly, watching as she calmly leaned back, her back straight.

Even under these circumstances, she remained calm.

"If you're not going to touch me, could you at least let Ian know that I've been taken away?"

"Ms. Pennyfeather, you're quite smart."

Wind stood still, but he didn't agree to her request.

He turned around and left.

In Judith's room, Dylan was still sitting there, having brought her many delicious food.

He always felt that Judith seemed distracted tonight.

"Judith, are you still not feeling well?"

Judith was eager to go to the basement to torture Maja. She hoped to bring a knife down with her to

slash Maja's face!

"No, weren't you supposed to return tomorrow?"

"I can't help but worry about you."

Dylan peeled a grape and placed it near her mouth.

There was a sweetness in Judith's heart. Being pampered felt really good.

"Dylan, is dad still mad at you?"

The motion of Dylan's fingers stilled, his expression serious, "You should call him and at least

apologize."

Judith stuck out her tongue, "I know, I'm his only daughter. He'll definitely not be angry with me. He

loves me the most, same goes for you. I'll always be the apple of your eye."
