"Daisy, you've gone too far!"
Daisy's eyes widened in disbelief. She couldn't believe he had dared to raise his voice at her.
"Get out, Peter! Who do you think you are to yell at me? Get out!"
Peter's face turned pale with anger. He stormed out of the dressing room, slamming the door behind
him.
Outside, he saw Maja holding her cell phone. She nodded slightly at him as he came out.
Peter felt awkward. He and Daisy had been arguing loudly, and he wasn't sure if Maja had heard.
But Maja seemed unfazed, so he figured she hadn't heard.
He breathed a sigh of relief, nodded back politely, and left.
Maja assumed he was off to see Antonia. He had been upset and it was natural he would go to Antonia
to vent.
Maja wasn’t making any call. She'd been listening to the argument.
She spoke into her still-connected earbuds, "Peter's coming to see you, Antonia. I've done my part. It's
your turn to show some goodwill."
Antonia was in disbelief. She didn't understand how Maja had managed to achieve this so easily.
She waited at home until half an hour later, Peter arrived. He even brought her a cupcake.
Even though the cupcake cost only 10 dollars, Antonia was overjoyed. Tears welled up in her eyes.
Seeing her so touched, Peter felt a little better. He was always the underdog around Daisy, but with
Antonia, he was her hero.
Antonia was respectful and humble throughout, which only made Peter feel better.
After dinner, Peter left.
In her excitement, Antonia called Maja. "He really came, Maja. You're amazing."
Maja lowered her eyes, "Now, Antonia, it's your turn to keep your promise. For the next two weeks, I'll
guide you on how to win back Peter's heart. But my artist can't wait that long, Antonia. You need to
agree to my conditions."
Antonia hesitated, but Maja knew she would agree.
She had tasted sweetness today. Peter, who had always despised her, had come to see her willingly
and even brought her a gift.
She was dizzy with joy.
"I'll do as you say, Maja. Whatever you ask me to do, I'll do it!"
Her tone dripped with undisguised excitement, and she even took the initiative to confess, "The plot
against Shawn was Linda's idea. I don't know much about her, but she's rich. She gave me a million
dollars."
Maja sat quietly in her office.
"Now you call Linda. Ask her if she's with her rich friends. If she is, tell her you have important
information to share in person. Promise her it will excite her. If she doesn't take the bait, tell her it's
about Dylan."
Mentioning Dylan would surely pique Linda's interest.

Antonia raised an eyebrow. As she was leaving, she met Maja's man and received the bag he brought.
Without checking its contents, she drove straight to Linda's place.
Linda clapped her hands, signaling her rich friends to quiet down.
"That bitch Antonia is coming to see me. She says she has some important news about Maja. Did she
find out Maja has been working as a prostitute secretly? Hahaha."
The others laughed along. Dressed in their fancy clothes, they didn't think for a moment that their joy
was built on insulting another person's dignity.
