Chapter 1184

Everyone watched her, so calm and collected, not seemingly knowing Antonia, let alone Daisy and

Peter. There was no need for her to lie.

Antonia remained in her kneel, her shoulders shaking with quiet sobs.

At this point, Wilma chimed in, "Daisy, you slapped her twice and made her apologize on her knees.

Now you realize you've accused her wrongly. How do you plan to make up for it?"

Wilma was the top banana of the group. Only when she spoke did the others dare to utter a word.

"Yeah, Daisy, you've really crossed the line this time. Your slaps made her bleed."

Maja helped Antonia up and saw the trace of blood at the corner of her mouth. That was when she

realized Daisy had really lost control.

"Miss, if you feel wronged, you can sue her. Those slaps could be considered assault."

Daisy was a star. Compensation was the least of her worries. If her reputation took a hit, it would benovelbin

hard for her to get work.

Daisy wanted to retort, but given that Maja was the investor, she had to swallow her anger.

She looked at her son and saw a hint of guilt in his eyes. She realized he probably caused his own

injuries.

But kids couldn’t be that observing. He angrily pushed Maja away.

"You're a bad woman! Get out! I don't want you here, get out!"

The crowd watched him throw a tantrum at Maja, their faces masked with amusement.

Daisy, in her panic, quickly nudged Peter, hoping he would intervene.

Peter had mixed feelings, especially as he looked at Antonia's bruised cheek, an ounce of guilt

appearing.

Turned out Antonia didn’t hurt the kid.

He sighed and pulled his son closer.

"Enough, apologize to the lady."

Upon hearing these words, the boy burst into tears.

"No, no! I don't want to. Dad doesn't love me anymore! I hate you!"

The term 'dad' changed the atmosphere of the set.

All eyes were on Peter.

Peter looked uncomfortable. His son wouldn’t call him that way, but his slip of the tongue had just

exposed their relationship.

Slowly, Antonia looked up at Peter, disbelief written all over her face, as if she just learned about the

news.

Daisy, in her fright, quickly held her son close.

"He's not feeling well today. I'll take him home."

But Wilma wasn't letting her off the hook.

"Daisy, you've wronged someone and even hit her. Shouldn't you apologize first? Is this how you set an

example for your kid? No wonder he's so out of control at such a young age. I bet his father is just as

irresponsible. Why have a kid if you’re not going to raise him properly?"

Peter felt a stab of guilt. He had been neglecting his daughter and had even allowed Daisy to slap

Antonia. Antonia had even brought lunch to him on behalf of his daughter.

While Antonia wiped her tears.

"I'm fine. I don't want to cause trouble for Peter and Daisy. As long as things are clear, I'm really okay.

The boy must be Peter's godson. I'm sorry for disturbing everyone today."

Even though she was the victim, she was the one apologizing.

Antonia flicked a glance at Peter and lowered her head, "I'll be leaving then."

With that, she left briskly.

Peter followed her out.

It wasn't until they were outside that Antonia broke down and cried.

Peter caught up to her but didn't know what to say. Antonia asked, "The food, you have to eat it. Our

daughter made it. Honey, I shouldn't have come today. I'm sorry for upsetting you and your artist."

Peter was at a loss for words, his brows furrowed tight. After a while, he finally said, "I'll come home

tonight to see our daughter."

A spark of joy flashed in Antonia's eyes.

Peter had never voluntarily come home before, except on their daughter's birthday.

And even then, he never stayed overnight, usually leaving when Daisy called.

She continued to listen to Maja, pretending she didn't know that the boy was Peter's son.
