Chapter 1057

Meanwhile, in the town of Greenfield, the online buzz about Maja's controversial background had

quickly vanished from the trending topics.

Even if they tried to search for Maja's name on the internet, they wouldn't be able to find any

information on her.

Wind furrowed his brows.

"Miss, Ian has bought up all the trending topics."

Judith rose from the couch, glancing at the clock on the wall.

It was already three in the morning. Ian surely cared for Maja as he took actions to take down those

trending topic at that late hour.

The coldness in her eyes intensified, and her lips were pressed into a thin line.

"Wind, spread the information about Clara and Drew online."

"It's already done, but the engagement rate is very low. It seems like they've been suppressed. All ofnovelbin

these names have been suppressed."

Frustration welled up in Judith. She grabbed her phone, not believing the situation, and frantically typed

Maja's name into Twitter. But the name was indeed blocked. She tried typing in Clara and Drew, and

still nothing came up.

She was so angry that she threw her phone at the wall, causing it to shatter into pieces.

Wind looked at her worriedly.

Judith clutched her chest, but quickly took some medicine from the table nearby, feeling a sharp pain in

her chest.

"Miss, don't bother about women like Maja. With a family like hers, if it weren't for her luck in getting

involved with Ian, she would never cross paths with you. Her brother is still in jail, and he's a piece of

trash too."

Thinking about her own beloved older brother and Beck, Judith felt somewhat relieved.

But she still felt uncomfortable and thought of another plan, "If the internet won't spread it, then we'll

spread it around Greenfield. Everyone should know that Maja, the trash, doesn't deserve Ian."

"Alright, most people in the circle already know about Clara and Drew's situation, and their professions.

As soon as Ian breaks up with her, she'll disappear from this circle."

Only then did Judith's lips curve up into a smile.

The gossip about Maja was still circulating within the circle, especially about Clara and Drew, whose

identities were so disgraceful.

Maja was unaware of that news, but considering the uproar at the party that night, she must have

become the butt of the joke.

When she woke up, the room was bright, and the sun was pouring in. She blinked, unaccustomed to

the bright light.

Ian wasn't there, so she got up and took a shower, feeling much better afterward.

As she was heading to the study, she heard Ian on the phone.

"What do you mean, Eric has disappeared?"

Maja paused at the door, knocking lightly.

Ian turned around and, seeing her, beckoned her over.

She walked over to him and heard him still asking.

"Fitch, is your information reliable? It's been so long, and now you're telling me he's disappeared?"

Fitch fell silent for a long time before speaking again, "I even suspect that Holden willingly cooperated

with him. He's hidden his tracks too well. Ian, what will you do if he comes back to fight you for the

Raymond Corporation one day?"

Nobody knew what tricks the old man still had up his sleeve.

After all, Eric had originally been chosen as the heir.

Ian held Maja close, his arms wrapped around her waist as he coldly said,

"He'll have to be able to snatch it first."

Moreover, he felt that Maja was much more important to him than the Raymond Corporation.

After a while, Fitch lit a cigarette, "There probably won't be any information for a while. I'm being

watched closely by my superiors, and your father is warned me."

Steve Raymond rarely got involved in the internal conflicts of the Raymond Corporation. He always

held his position, doing as he was told.

Ian couldn't imagine his own father getting involved in that matter. He suddenly felt a sense of unease.

But he didn't know where that unease came from.

His arms tightened around Maja.

Maja raised her hand and massaged his forehead to comfort him.

After hanging up the call, Ian just looked up at her and calmly asked,

"Feeling better?"

She nodded, wanting to say that she was going to the office but was worried that he would be upset.

She could see that Ian was also very busy. Even though things had somewhat calmed down at the

Raymond Corporation, he still had to deal with his grandfather and Eric.

Thinking of Grandpa Holden, she was reminded of her promise to him - to give the Raymond family a

great-grandchild within two years.

She was almost done with the acquisition of Simstar Entertainment in half a year. Once the company

got through that busy period, its market value would multiply several times.

But the issue of having a child.

She looked at Ian's face, and her heart ached for a moment.

The child they had previously lost, she didn’t even know if it was a boy or a girl.

Being with Ian, she had to overcome those negative emotions that would surge from time to time.
