Chapter 380

“You’re a bit green, seems like your hubby hasn’t taught you much.”

His excitement was palpable, his voice a little gravelly.

Maja was in a whirlwind of thoughts, too scared to even utter a word.

She was a bundle of nerves, half expecting someone to barge in at any moment, then freaking outwhen she thought someone might spot them from the building across.

In the end, his intense actions caused her to faint.

At 5 am, lan Raymond finally put his suit on her and carried her to his car.

If anyone had ever told him that he would end up getting frisky with a woman in his office, he wouldhave called them crazy.

He was a workaholic and to him, his office was his sanctuary.

But there he was, spending the night with the woman in his arms in that very place.

He’d found out that he somehow liked the feeling.

Maja was so pooped she couldn’t even lift a finger. Ian tucked her into bed, intending to help her bathe, but her phone rang.

He frowned, seeing an unfamiliar number, and picked it up. A male voice came through.

“I’m Knox, I have your husband, Nathan. If you don’t respond to me, I’ll make things difficult for him, believe it or not!” The next second, lan’s face darkened. He hung up and looked at the woman on the

bed who was too tired to speak. He chuckled, a cold glint in his eyes.novelbin

So, it was Knox who had her husband, no wonder she changed her mind so quickly.

His rage ignited instantly. He held Maja tightly, and started over, showing no mercy.

Maja was jolted awake, her voice hoarse, too weak to speak.

“Mr. Raymond.”

She was really exhausted and wished he would stop.

But lan just held her by the waist tightly.

Two hours later, without even sparing a glance at the ragdoll–like woman on the bed, he went to take abath, put on fresh clothes and headed to the Raymond Corporation.

He didn’t let up in those last two hours, deliberately wearing her down, leaving marks on her neck, noteven sparing the most intimate places.

When Maja woke up, her whole body ached.

Seeing the ceiling, she tried to sit up immediately, but the movement caused severe pain in her waistand made her gasp.

It was noon already, there was no one in the room, lan must have left long ago.

She was a mess, not cleaned up at all.

As if she was just a toy for him to vent his frustration.

Her fingers clenched the sheets tightly, she took a deep breath and angrily pulled the blanket overherself.

Then she thought of something and let out a bitter laugh.

She tried to get out of bed, but the pain made her grimace and she had to support herself on the edgeof the bed to stand up.

Her calves were trembling slightly, she glanced at the clothes on the floor, they were torn andunwearable.

She forced herself to go to the bathroom, when she saw the marks on her neck, her pupils dilated.

She dared not look any longer and quickly took a shower.

But she had no clothes.

She was too embarrassed to text Carol Miller, afraid that her condition might cause trouble for lan.

There was no washing away those marks, and as the warm water ran from her head, all she couldthink of was the intensity with which he’d held her on his desk.

Like a wolf, pouncing on its prey.

It was totally contrary to his noble, cold demeanor.

Maja returned to the bedroom, out of options and she opened the closet.

There were many suits of lan’s.

Her pants were still wearable, but her top was completely ruined.

She had no choice but to take out one of his white shirts.

His suits were all tailor–made, neatly arranged in the closet, ironed and delivered daily.

The shirts too.

Maja lowered her eyelashes, pondered for a moment, and then sent him a text.

“Mr. Raymond, my clothes are ruined, I used your shirt.”

lan was sitting in his office, seriously processing documents on the computer. When he heard the textalert, his fingers paused.

He picked up his phone and saw the message, slightly raising an eyebrow.

The documents he had tossed around last night were all tidied up.

In retrospect, he was pretty out of it last night, the moment she agreed, he was kind of afraid she wouldback out.
