Maja didn’t catch his last words as lan slid into the driver’s seat.
As his hands gripped the steering wheel, Maja stared straight ahead.

Bending down, Maja cupped Coco’s face in her hands, gently soothing it.
She felt a burning gaze at her back, knowing instantly who it was

She took off her coat, hearing Maria ask, “Ms. Pennyfeather, what would you like to eat for tonight?”
I’m good. I’ll go upstairs to get some rest”
Maria held her tongue, wanting to ask about the sudden reappearance of Mr. Raymond in Maja’s life.Ian wasn’t a good match for Maja, but merely moving her lips, she didn’t utter anymore.
The rest of the staff in the Rosewood Manor also felt discomfort at lan’s presence.
