“What is it? Tell me right here.” Jaspernever once took his eyes off Alyssa.
Landon furrowed his brows as he wondered how to go about it.
“Jasper! Jasper!”Suddenly, he wasspooked by a wailing female voice from afar. Meanwhile, Jasperfrowned and straightened up from shock.

first thing after he wakes up.”
Alyssa’s emotionless exit put a bullet through Jasper’s chest. He felt suffocated by the paini.
“Jasper!”Liana’s eyes were swollen fromthe crying. She was about to throw herself into Jasper’s armswhen Landon stopped her coldly.
He advised, “Ms. Gardner, this is not the time to be meeting Jasper. As a daughter, you should visityour dad at the hospital and get your mo m a capable attorney.”
She ignored his suggestion and shamelessly wailed at Jasper,”I’m framed! I’m the victim. You mustbelieve in me! How could I have betrayed you when I am so in love with you?” 1
Jasper stood with his back to her. He clenched his jaw in irritation with wintry eyes. Her profession oflove sickened him.
“Tsk, don’t you have any shame aftergetting knocked up? Quit talking about
love. I’m going to barf.” Landon gave her a side-eye.
He continued, “You should be thankful that Jasper is kind. If I were Jasper, the father of your childwould have been dead by now. I would have kicked your family out of Solana City and made sure younever showed up in front of me!”
Liana was stunned by Landon’s heartless remark and shuddered. Jasper finally turned around stifflyand glared at Liana.”Leave.”
“No,I won’t!” Liana whined, still actinglike an obnoxious little brat, thinking that she could get her waywith Jasper.
Little did she know that Jasper had texted Xavier. Xavier showed up with two bodyguards to send heraway.
“Remove her. Let’s not disturb otherpatients,”Jasper ordered in an icy tone.
“Got it!” Xavier furiously rolled up hissleeves and took Liana away by her arms
with the help of another bodyguard.
“There’s nothing between Curtis and I …He … He raped me because I refused to date him! That’s howI got pregnant with his child!”
Liana resorted to telling a ridiculous lie to get out of it. “He blackmailed me repeatedly and dragged medown with him when I refused to give in. He wanted to destroy me!
“Jasper, I’m a victim as well! Why do yourefuse to trust me?”
“Liana.”The glint of ice in Jasper’s eyesplunged her into despair. There was no hope of salvaging therelationship.”I didn’t break up with you over that man or the child.”
