Chapter 46

Chapter 46

True to what Lilac told him, luna Jasmine was not the only person, who received the punishment. No, actually, she didn’t get much negative attention, because it was Aria, who had taken the bruntfor what had transpired last night

Aria admitted that she was the one, who put the drug inside Lilac’s drink and luna Jasmine wasactually innocent, since the only mistake she did was to let Aiden slept on the same bedroom likeLilac.

Apparently, the story was twisted. Aiden was drunk last night because he was very happy towelcome his firstborn and his chosen mate would be the future luna of the pack. They werecelebrating that, the reason why he was drunk in the first place and was not in his right mind whenhe saw Lilac on his bed.

The bond must have played the role for what happened next, since they just recently broke thebond and everyone knew about this. The feeling was still there.

“What a good narration,” Hunter scoffed disdainfully, for them actually could get away from thismess unscathed.

People condemned Aria for what she had done and looked at luna Jasmine in different light, butthat feeling wouldn’t last for long, since they focused their hatred on Aria. After all, they wouldn’t beable to do anything against the luna, neither they could show their displease for her recklessdecision.

Therefore, it was Aria, who needed to take the downfall. It didn’t take a genius to know she wouldbe a social pariah after this. No one would trust her and comfortable enough to be around her.

She was doomed.

“I told you before, right? It will not as easy as you think to take her down.” Lilac didn’t seem like shewas interested in this matter, she closed the curtain of the carriage and then stared at Hunter’sannoyed expression.

The lycan had underestimated the level of luna Jasmine wickedness.

“It seems, she is really annoyed and wants to severe any ties with you. She declared how happyyour ex mate to welcome his firstborn.” Hunter glanced at Lilac to see her expression, but she didn’tseem to be bothered by that fact.

“I will not be part of this pack anymore, there is no need to hold onto me.”

“Whatever it is. We need to go now,” Hunter said in grim tone. He hated it when he was provenwrong. More so, he didn’t want to spend another second in this pack

“Is it possible if I see Aria before we left?” Lilac knew this was impossible, but then she had nothingto lose if she asked Hunter about it.

Hunter narrowed his eyes. “Do you still want to see her? That so called friend of yours?” novelbin

Yes Lilac bit her l*p, trying so hard to appear nonchalant. “I will go from this pack and will neverreturn, at the very least, I want to know why she agreed to what luna Jasmine told her to do.”

Hunter rolled his eyes, as if the question was very ridiculous in his ears. “She is the luna, what elsethe reason, even now, do you really think she wanted to be beaten half death like that?” Hunternodded at the renery out there, where they took Aria away after a hundred lashes that she receivedwas done

She was still alive, but heaven only knew when she would be able to fully recover, if she really couldmake it this harsh punishment.

“And what she was thinking about it.” Lilac added.

“Look.” Hunter was losing his patient right now. He had delayed their return for long enough for hisliking. “There is no way I will agree to this.”

The way Hunter spoke, as if there was no room for any negotiation, but then an hour later, the twoof them were standing right in front of the door of the bedroom, where Aria was taking rest. A healerjust came out from there to give her medicine and to keep her alive, but it would take months forher to be able to get back to her usual self.

“I don’t believe it. I actually agreed to delay this.” Hunter was in disbelieve to his impulsiveness. Hecouldn’t stand the sight of Lilac was being very forlorn for not being able to get the closure sheneeded from her friend.

“Thank you,” Lilac said, she touched his arm and that was all she needed to defeat him.

“Make it fast. I want to get away from this pack as soon as possible,” Hunter said, annoyed, butmore to himself rather than to Lilac.

“Okay, I will,” Lilac said in light tone before she pushed opened the door and was greeted by thesight of Aria’s back. Her b*dy was wrapped tightly in white bandages, but right now the bandagewas stained by her blood that seeped through the fabric,

Lilac was not sure that she would get a proper conversation with Aria, but Hunter wouldn’t be sopatient with her if she asked for another day to stay, thus she only could give her best shot.

“Aria, are you awake?” Lilac knelt down next to her bed. This room was very small. Now, she hadwoken up inside a big room in the mansion that the lycan occupied, she could see how small this

room was and how inappropriate this was as the future Juna’s bedroom, yet she was very thankfulfor luna Jasmine to give her a small place that she could call her own.

How pitiful she was to be very happy when she didn’t receive what she deserved for such heavytitle as the future luna of the pack.

Now, she didn’t need to care about that anymore.

Aria moved slightly, she opened her eyes and tears started to flow down from her eyes. “Li- Lilac…sorry…”
