Lilac really wanted to roll her eyes in response, just like how he rolled his eyes earlier, but instead, shewidened her eyes when he saw Hunter drank some of the tonic..
“You can see now. I am still alive.” Hunter showed that the tonic had decreased slightly.
“Drink more,” Lilac said, she had not yet convinced with what Hunter showed to her.
“You are really a pain in the ass,” Hunter grumbled. “If I drink it more, the effect will not really helpfulwith you.”
“Drink more,” Lilac insisted and Hunter obliged, because from the look of it, this woman wouldn’t drinkanything if he didn’t do as per her request.

In the end, Hunter drank half of the tonic and helped Lilac to drink the rest. He carefully cradled herhead so she wouldn’t choke.
