Chatper 1920

Despite Bran’s intense glare, Dustin nonchalantly shrugged it off. He knew he could have easily emerged victorious in their fightwithout any intervention.

After handling a couple of minor disturbances, Aidan resumed his meal. Jackson, accompanied by the disciples of theEmbersteel Order, chose to keep a low profile and settled into nearby seats.

Grace stood up and approached Jacksons table. “Hello, everyone. Thank you for your timely assistance,” she expressed hergratitude. Jackson dismissed it coolly, saying, ” Just helping out, no biggie.”

He added, “I’ve always had a thing against those who prey on the weaker ones. Our sect consistently stands against injustice.”“The Embersteel Order truly lives up to its reputation as a haven for true heroes,” Grace remarked admiringly.

“Why not join us at the table for a few drinks?” she asked, warmly inviting them. “I’ve got a couple of bottles of premium wine inmy collection.”novelbin

At the mention of premium wine, Jackson’s eyes widened with interest.

“No need for all the formalities. I’m in, “he quickly said, motioning for his sect’s disciples to merge their table with Grace's.“Mr. Will, could you ask the chef for a few more dishes and grab some extra bottles of wine?” Grace instructed her assistant.“Of course,” Mr. Will responded promptly and left.

Soon, the table was brimming with a variety of delectable dishes and premium wines. Without hesitation, Jackson poured himselfa glass and downed it in one go. “This wine is amazing!”

His face lit up with pleasure after the first sip, and he couldn't resist licking his lips. “I'd bet this has to be a century -old vintage,am | right?”

Considering himself quite the seasoned drinker, he reveled in the unmatched richness and flavor of the wine. The 50- year-oldvintage he had shared with his master paled in comparison to the exquisite drink in his hand.

“It looks like our distinguished hero here knows his wines well,” Grace said with an ambiguous smile. After all, savoring a royalfine wine, especially one as rare as this, wasn’t an everyday experience for most.

“I'm not trying to come off as some kind of hero or anything. By the way, the name’s Jackson Hawk. If you want to keep thingscasual, just call me Jackson,” he said boldly.

“I'm Grace Linsor, and this is my friend, Dustin,” Grace introduced.“Your fearless stand against the Frostwing Sect is truly admirable. Facing their power head-on makes you a genuine hero. Here’sto you!” Jackson raised his glass, nodding approvingly at Dustin.

In the entire southwest region, Jackson knew that not many dared to confront the Frostwing Sect. Regardless of the opponent'sstrength, Dustin’s bravery was commendable.

“Compared to you, I’ve still got a long road ahead.” Dustin returned the gesture, raising his glass.“In the world of martial arts, we value kindred spirits who share similar principles,” Jackson remarked.

He continued, “Fate has brought you two across our paths. If you ever encounter challenges ahead, don’t hesitate to seek meout. I'll be more than willing to lend a hand!” He patted his chest reassuringly.

“Thank you,” Dustin replied.
