Chatper 1785

The other girls bowed and kneeled. Their sincerity was evident in the gesture. As Dustin observed the scene, he wasmomentarily stunned. The words spoken by the girl in yellow carried a profound impact.

He hadn't expected that, after enduring such traumatic experiences, these girls weren’t merely concerned about their ownsituations.

But they were contemplating the fate of all vulnerable groups worldwide. Their noble aspirations and heightened awarenessresonated deeply, even touching Dustin deep in his heart.

In alignment with Grace’s earlier insight, these young women were forced into the darkness but still harbored aspirations to bethe light. Their exceptional courage was genuinely commendable.

Who claimed women fall short of men? In the domain of true righteousness, these female heroes stood tall, contributing nobledeeds to uphold their share of the world.

With such a group of virtuous fighters, how can West Lucozia not thrive? How could the world not find its equilibrium?“Dustin, make a decision. If you don’t take them in, they won’t have a hope to live.” Grace urged earnestly.

“Will you regret your choice?” Dustin asked seriously.

“Never!” all the girls replied unanimously.

“Good! | take you all in,” he said earnestly.

He went on, “Starting today, I'll arrange special training for you. If you can endure it, I’ll do my best to help you achieve youraspirations. If not possible, find a place to live peacefully.”

“We won't let you down, sir!” the girl in yellow affirmed.

“We won't let you down, sir!” the other girls echoed. Raven nodded and looked at Grace. “I'll leave them to you for now. I'll makemore comprehensive arrangements for their next location tomorrow.”

“No problem,” Grace said with a slight smile as she led the group of girls away. As they left, Rodrigo rushed in anxiously, lookingflustered as if something terrible had occurred.

“Your Highness! Bad news!” Rodrigo exclaimed, his eyes welling with emotion.

“There’s been a disturbance at the castle. His Highness was attacked by assassins and has succumbed to his death.”

“What?” Dustin was thunderstruck, rooted in place.

After a moment, he snapped back to reality, grabbing Rodrigo angrily. ” What nonsense are you spouting? The castle is heavilyguarded by skilled fighters. Rufus couldn’t possibly be assassinated!”

“Your Highness, | can’t believe it either, but this information came from inside the castle.

I've double-checked, His Highness... — He really was assassinated,” Rodrigo said, his voice trembling as tears welled in hiseyes.

“No, it’s impossible, absolutely impossible!” Dustin kept shaking his head. “Rufus was a master strategist and was always able toescape danger. How could he possibly die?”

“It's remnants of the Dragon Guard! They assassinated him!” Rodrigo said, full of grief and anger.“The Dragon Guard ... It’s the Dragon Guard again!” Dustin gritted his teeth, his mouth almost breathing fire.novelbin

“| swear I'll tear them apart into a million pieces!”
