“Dustin, | understand you're dealing with a lot right now. But before you make any decisions, let me finish,” Grace said with asmirk.

She went on, “These girls trust you completely. If you take them in, it could be beneficial for you in many ways. You know, whenyou're feeling lonely or ... Well, you get the idea.”

“Hey! No jokes. Get to the point!” Dustin retorted impatiently.“Alright, I'll get straight to it,” Grace said, her tone turning serious.

She added, “Logan, these girls are exceptional. I've screened them, and each one is intelligent, resilient, and will becomeremarkable individuals with a bit of nurturing.”

“What do you mean?” He squinted.

“| believe you understand the importance of undercover agents, especially female ones. They possess unique advantages incertain aspects.

“If you train these girls as undercover agents, it could be a significant asset,” she explained.

“Easy for you to say. Training an undercover agent takes a lot of time and effort. I’m struggling as it is, and | don’t have the luxuryfor this.” Dustin shook his head.

In reality, he hoped these girls could lead a peaceful life rather than being used as pawns.

“Loyalty is crucial for undercover agents, and they already have it. You saved them and became their beacon of light in their darkworld. They see you as a god-like figure.

“As for time and effort, don’t worry. You don’t need to teach them yourself. Find a good mentor for them. Rodrigo, the guy aroundyou, seems suitable,” Grace suggested with a slight smile.

“Is this all your idea? Have you asked them about it?” he asked.“Of course, | asked. They're all willing. They’re even willing to sacrifice their lives for you when necessary,” she replied.“They've had enough hardship. Why put them through this?” Dustin furrowed his brows.

“Logan, some people, despite their dark circumstances, aspire to be the light. Why not ask them yourself and hear what theyhave to say?” Grace said mysteriously.

“Please, sir, accept us. We're willing to do anything!” The girl in yellow suddenly kneeled on the ground.

“Please, sir, accept us!” The other girls followed suit, showing sincerity.

“Do you know what you're getting into? “Dustin asked coldly.

“We do. We're willing to be pawns for you,” the girl in yellow said.

“You're grateful. | get it, but | don’t want to endanger you. This is a one- way road. Once you step on it, there might be no turningback. You deserve a good life, not risking your lives.” Dustin shook his head.novelbin

As an undercover agent, they were destined to linger in the shadows, treading on thin ice every day and burdened by constantanxiety.

Amomentary lapse could have led to dire consequences. The strain and torment of that life were challenges that exceeded theresilience of an ordinary person.

“Sir, our parents are dead, and our families have been wiped out. We have nothing left. If our worthless lives can help youachieve greatness, it's our honor and privilege,” the girl in yellow said.

“Think it through. Some things are not as simple as you imagine.” Dustin shook his head again.“Sir! We've thought it through! Our lives are worthless, and we can help you in the dark and aid those who are suffering.

“We aspire to create a world where justice prevails, where those in power exercise responsibility. And most importantly, whereinnocent girls are spared from the horrors of losing their homes and lives!

“This is not just our wish; it’s the vision we strive for in the days to come. We sincerely hope for your acceptance, kind sir!” Thegirl in yellow became emotional and knocked her head hard on the ground.

“Please accept us, sir!”
