Raymond’s voice sounded unusually cold.
Pearl didn’t want to talk about Richard right now, so she quickly changed the topic, “So, what’s the
good news?”
“In three days, Master Jordan will come to Hazelton to pick you up personally. As I’ve told you, it’s for
the engagement.”
Pearl agreed, “Alright, but he doesn’t have to come pick me up. I can go back today.”
“You’re quite a peculiar person, you know,” Raymond said, sounding somewhat bewildered.
“I just speak my mind and don’t hide my feelings. Since Richard has chosen to be with Jenny, I won’t
bother with him anymore. I’ll live my own life.”
Raymond smiled gently. “There’s no rush to go back. Hazelton has many interesting places. Don’t you
want to enjoy yourself a bit?”
“Nope,” Pearl refused without much thought.
“Since Richard treated you that way, wouldn’t you like a chance for payback?” Raymond’s voice had a
hint of temptation, You have a handsome guy here for free, your future fiance who’s willing to
accompany you. Why not take the opportunity to show off?”
Initially, Pearl wanted to decline, but after days of frustration, Raymond’s suggestion began to make
sense.
A few minutes later, they agreed to meet at the swimming pool.
“Why the swimming pool?” Pearl asked.
Raymond looked her up and down with an intense gaze. “I’ve never seen you in a swimsuit. I’d like to
take a look”
“What nonsense are you talking about?” Pearl lacked Raymond without hesitation.
Luckily, Raymond reacted quickly and avoided the attack. “Alright, I won’t tease you anymore. Let’s
take some intimate photos to provoke Richard.”
“Okay,” Pearl agreed. Since she was going through a tough time, why not make things a bit difficult for
others too?
A few minutes later, Pearl put on a pink swimsuit that showcased her figure, and her skin was fair as
snow.
Raymond took out his camera and got close to Pearl to take some photos. “Not bad. We look quite a
match!”
After taking some photos, Pearl immediately distanced herself and posted them on her social media.

Raymond suggested, “I don’t know, how about ‘Let’s watch more movies together in the future”?”
Pearl rolled her eyes. “Too cheesy.” After that, she lowered her head and went on searching for the
right caption.
“What are you looking for?”
Pearl chuckled. “A popular announcement caption.”
Raymond was speechless.
As she posted the photo, Pearl quietly counted the number of likes and comments. Suddenly, her
phone rang. Pearl glanced at her screen-it was a call from Richard.
