Chapter 647 The Past
Maximilian was slightly surprised when Thomas suddenly appeared. And then without hesitation, he
rushed to Thomas with Victoria.
After entering the room, Victoria was already slightly out of breath after running.
"Thomas, what are you up to? Why do you seem to be a sneak?” Maximilian asked directly.
Thomas glanced at Victoria and said with a bitter smile. "I ran into something tricky. I don't know what
to do, so..."
Maximilian nodded slightly and looked towards the small door at the end of the room. He said, "Can
you help us get out of here?"
"Of course, I can, I'll send you out. Mr. Lee, can you talk to me alone later if you are free?" Thomas
stared at Maximilian and said.
Maximilian smiled and said, "Okay, we can talk about whatever you want after I send Victoria back."
"Okay, that's just great."
Thomas took a big step to the small door, pulled it open, and walked out first. Behind the door was a
secret passage, which Thomas had obviously prepared for his own escape.
Maximilian and Victoria followed him. They reached the parking lot after several turns.
"It's a good escape route that connects with the parking lot. Get into the car." Maximilian said as he
walked to the Mercedes to open the door.
Victoria got into the passenger seat and Thomas got into the back of the car. After that, Maximilian
started the car and drove out of the parking lot.
"This is a good idea for you to do a lecture, and we can keep it up in the future." Maximilian said
casually to end the awkwardness in the car.
Thomas smiled bitterly and responded with some perfunctory words. With a burden in his heart, he was
not interest in talking.
Seeing that Thomas was not interested, Maximilian stopped.
The car went back to the hilltop villa smoothly. Victoria knew they had something to discuss, so she got
out of the car alone and walked towards the villa.
"Now it's just the two of us. Just tell me what's going on. Is someone bullying you or something
happened?" Maximilian said as he took out a cigarette and handed it to Thomas.
Thomas took the cigarette and lit it up. He smoked for a while and then took out an envelope from his
pocket.
After handing the envelope to Maximilian, Thomas said with a gloomy face, "Someone gave this to you.
I hesitated for a long time about whether to tell you about it or not. The lecture was not scheduled for
today. I hastily prepared it because I want to tell you something. Check the envelope first."
The envelope seemed very ordinary, just a simple kraft envelope. But at the seal, a black skull logo
was attached.
Maximilian gently held the envelope with two fingers, and then said with a smile, "Inside is a bullet,
quite large. It should be a sniper rifle bullet."
"Yes, I feel so too." Thomas said with his head down.

me?"
