Chapter 566 Shameless
The pretty assistant rushed to the door in haste while looking for Maximilian and Victoria. When she
found them in the lounge, she felt relieved instantly.
As long as they were here, she would not be worried. In that case, she would only need to apologize to
them, which was something she was good at.
She trotted to them and took a standard bow before saying anything.
“Mr. and Mrs. Lee, it’s my fault and I ask for you forgiveness.”
Her action drew a lot of attention from the passers-by. The bystanders looked at Maximilian and
Victoria with their gossipy eyes.
Maximilian raised his eyebrows and sneered, “Is this supposed to be an apology? I didn’t see any
sincerity in it.”
“How... what should I do to show my sincerity?” The pretty assistant asked while suppressing her
anger.
“That’s up to you. I won’t forgive you until I see enough sincerity in you.” Maximilian said calmly.
Victoria didn’t say anything because this assistant indeed sounded annoying before. She believed she
should realize that she was wrong.
The beautiful assistant pouted and lowered her eyes, wondering if she should bend her knees.
Judging by Maximilian’s attitude, it might be the only way to show her sincerity. But it would make her
feel humiliated.
If she could not get his forgiveness, she would be punished by Casper. Her face became pale when
she thought of the possible punishment.
All of a sudden, all hesitation disappeared. Gritting her teeth, she knelt before Maximilian and
kowtowed.
“Mr. and Mrs. Lee, please forgive me for making your angry.”
The bystanders opened their eyes wide when they saw the beautiful assistant kneeling on the ground
to apology.
“The two sitting over there seem to be the CEO of the Topyuan Group. Who offended them?”
“It’s said that her husband was no ordinary. He is the bastard of a mysterious and wealthy man. The
group is an asset given by Maximilian’s father.”
“It’s different from what I heard. Maximilian is a young master from a rich family. He wants to

Their chatting was quite loud, which made Maximilian frown. He didn’t want to be spectated.

Maximilian said coldly.

Following the assistant, Maximilian and Victoria entered Casper’s room.
The man stood up slowly as he saw Maximilian and Victoria. “Welcome. I’m sorry for my assistant’s
offense and I hope she has made her apology.”
“Kind of. But I’m more curious about your intention.” Maximilian said directly.
“So it’s true about you are impetuous. We don’t have to be in such a hurry. How about sit down and
have some wine first?”
Then Casper gestured them to sit down before he sat back on his chair.
Maximilian and Victoria sat down. “Our time is precious, and we don’t want to waste it on this kind of
things.” Victoria said with no emotion.
Casper raised his eye brows and a hint of anger flashed through his eyes.
“Well, guess I have to put it directly. I want to become a shareholder and control the Topyuan Group.”
“Impossible. We’re well funded, and we don’t need new partners.” Victoria refused him without
hesitation.
Then Casper took out a paper and pushed it towards Victoria with his finger-tips.
“Please read this file before making any decision.”
Victoria cast a glimpse of it and intended to pick it up, but Maximilian pushed it back to Casper. “Nonovelbin
matter what was written on it, we don’t need to see it. The Group will never allow an outsider to hold its
share.” Maximilian said coldly.
Casper turned somber, as he felt humiliated and no one in the medical industry had dared to insult him.
Casper picked the paper up and threw it on the ground.
“Well, you are the first who dare to talk to me like this. Since you don’t have any respect for me, I will
do it in my way. You can give up producing the medicine you planned to launch. I have already asked
someone to register its patent.” Casper raised his head high, seeming very confident.
Victoria became tensed and thought of Doctor Hughes. She assumed the Doctor might be threatened
by Casper.
“You bribed Doctor Hughes to steal our prescription!” Victoria asked angrily.
“I will never do something despicable. Someone gave it to me. I suppose the paperwork for the
registration is ready now.”
Casper said it with complacency, as his beautiful assistant walked in with a pile of newly printed papers
in her hand.
“It’s been approved. Any other product that uses the same formula will be banned in market. This is the
file.”
The beautiful assistant gave the papers to Casper and cast a vicious glance at Maximilian. She
wondered if Maximilian would still be so arrogant now.
She was still angry about her kneeling before this man. Now she believed the insult she received would
soon be repaid.
Casper took a look at the papers in his hands and tossed it in front of Maximilian.
“Read it carefully! It seems that it’s very potential. As long as you can let me have the majority stake, I
can allow you to use the formula.”
“You are so shameless! This is our formula. You’ve just registered it first. You will be sued!” Victoria
glared at Casper.
Maximilian said with a smile, “Dear, you don’t need to be angry about such a scum like him. If he wants
to produce the medicine, we can let him do it.”
Surprised, Victoria looked at Maximilian, wondering why Maximilian made the compromise. Although
they were not likely to win the lawsuit, they should at least give it a try.
She didn’t understand why Maximilian gave it away so easily.
