Watching Victoria’s serious expression, Maximilian mediated for a while and intended to tell her the
whole story.
Suddenly, a Rolls-Royce Phantom stopped beside them, then Wilfred opened the car and got off.
After a glance at Maximilian, Wilfred walked up to the couple with smile, “Mr. Lee, thanks for your help
last time. I heard that you were coming to Hugo birthday banquet, so I just made some arrangements
on my own.”
Victoria looked at Wilfred with confusion, and then she looked at Maximilian and asked, “What
arrangements have you made?”
“I just sent a birthday gift to Hugo in name of Mr. Lee. Well, I don’t know Mr. Lee’s intentions, so I just
sent it in name of Mr. Lee, but not your full name.”
“Besides, Connor, Phillip and Thomas are all my friends. I just asked them a favor to support the
banquet. Is Mr. Lee satisfied with my arrangement?”
Wilfred said in vivid detail, and Victoria almost believed it.

she comes here, but I think she is here for you.”

she come here again?”
