Chapter 1054 A New Adviser of Dragon Queen

She thought there must be something wrong with it, but she didn’t know exactly what it was. She

guessed it must be someone who had great power that was helping her. She glanced at Maximilian,

trying to get some clues from him.

She had a feeling that Maximilian must be involved in it. She wanted him to tell her the truth.

“Why are you looking at me? What do you wanna say?” Maximilian said flatly.

He didn’t know what she was thinking about.

She said: “I’m just kidding. Never mind.”

Maximilian didn’t want to explain more.

“I understand what you are thinking. You’re right. I have asked someone to help you because I don’t

want them to hurt you.” said he.

He thought it a must to give her a brief explanation.

“How do you know the people from Emperor Family? They’re a big family in W City.” She was curious

about it.

“I just know a little about them. Also, Dragon Sect was my enemy, so helping you is helping myself.” He

didn’t mean to say much about his relationship with Emperor Family.

She was shocked.

But there would no other problems if Maximilian was on her side.

“If it were not you, I couldn’t imagine what would happen to me. But you’d better get it straight. Dragon

Sect will never let us go.”

She knew that the Dragon Sect would definitely find another change to revenge.

Maximilian was very calm since he knew it too. He had dealt with them for several times after all.novelbin

So, he nodded in agreement.

Dragon Queen was furious about being betrayed by Adviser Ashton.

She had to find another adviser.

She chose a man in suits, who seemed to bear out of the ordinary.

She believed he would be qualified and competent at the first sight.

Then she laid out several conditions.

As expected, he agreed to all of them. He was on her side.

She hesitated for a second and then smiled, “Since you want to work for me, I think you should show

me how competent you are at first. I want Maximilian pay for what he did, can you do it?”

She wanted to avenge the insult by any means.

He laughed, as if hearing the most ridiculous thing. “I can deal with anybody as long as I want to. It’s

not a big deal.”

She got relieved a bit after hearing this. Also, she was curious who he was and why he was so

confident.

“Dragon Queen, all I want to say is that whoever becomes my enemy has no other choice but death. I’ll

do what you asked for.” He said slowly.

She nodded in satisfaction, thinking he would let her down this time.

“Now you can go. Remember to kill him at any costs. If you fail, you’re not qualified to work for me.”

said she.

If he was as incapable as Adviser Ashton, she would never use him.

He hesitated for a moment. He realized that this would be his first chance, as well as his last one.

“Don’t worry. Leave it to me.” He said while opening his suitcase.

He looked professional. She thought maybe this time she found the right person who could create the

miracle for her.

He took a small bottle of medicine, saying, “It’s a special medicine I made. One will pass out once

being hit.”

“It’s not enough to deal with him. He can even duck the bullet. It won’t work.” She shook her head to

show her denial because she knew how powerful Maximilian was.

He was surprised to hear that, but he took another bottle at once and said, “Or I can poison him. It will

work.”

She was satisfied with this idea which she hadn’t tried before. What if it really worked?

She told him to have a try.

He smiled. He had investigated all the information about the people around Maximilian, including Flora,

who was in a bar. He planned to approach her at first.
