Tyler’s sincere smile always caused Ariana to want to protect him. She threw out plenty of comforting
words before letting him go.
Ariana suddenly glanced at her watch to check the time. It was almost eight o’clock.
Theodore might not be able to come over so soon.
Since the videos were turned off, the room was very quiet which was rather awkward.
Ariana didn’t realize the awkward atmosphere, until now. She suddenly felt that it was really awkward

Although the dorms allocated by SJ Entertainment to the artists were small, they were equipped with
the necessary things, including a fully equipped kitchen and a small balcony. However, the space was a
bit small. The living room, for example, was so small that Ariana could walk through it in just a few
steps.
Ariana was a little naive on some things, and she really only viewed Tyler as her own brother.
But even someone as naive as Ariana couldn’t ignore the wild thoughts Theodore often had. She
definitely didn’t want there to be another misunderstanding like last time, no matter how small. So, she
had to avoid doing anything that could let Theodore misunderstand her.
“Theodore said he is coming to pick me up. I guess he will arrive soon,” Ariana said suddenly, doing
her best to behave naturally. She put on her coat and said to Tyler, “I’m leaving now. Make sure you
have your dinner later.”
“Okay, let me walk you out.” Tyler was smart. He knew she wanted to avoid any misunderstanding with
Theodore, so he didn’t try to hold her back and walked her to the elevator.
When Ariana went downstairs, she put on a scarf and hummed a song. Guessing it might take a while
for Theodore to arrive, Ariana planned to go to the nearby convenience store to pass time.
As soon as she stepped out of the lobby, she saw a familiar black car pull up under a tree. It was as if
the car had been parked there for a long time.
Didn’t Theodore say that he would call her when he arrived?
Ariana checked the time and realized it had only been thirteen minutes since Theodore called. How did
he reach so quickly? ?
Why didn’t he call her when he arrived?
While she was lost in thought, Theodore called her again.
She didn’t answer but trotted over to the black car instead. She knocked on the car’s window before
opening the door and sitting in the back seat.
Despite it being spring, the temperature was still cold.
As soon as Ariana got in the car, the heat enveloped her. She rubbed her hands comfortably before
taking off her scarf.
She greeted Horace and asked, “How did you arrive so soon?”
Horace turned his head and replied with a smile, “Mr. Anderson happened to be dealing with something
nearby, so we were just around the corner from here.”
Ariana nodded and didn’t ask more.
