Luke extended his hand to the driver. "Let me use your phone."
The back of his hand was grazed. The skin and flesh were visible, and it was covered in sticky red andwhite liquid. It looked quite horrifying.

Luke wagged his hand at him and dialed a phone number.

She wanted to touch it, but she did not want to hurt him further.

Bianca had managed to convince Tommy that Luke was his father, though the little boy was not goingto admit it that easily.

"Does it hurt, Luke? You must tell me if it hurts." Bianca took the first aid kit. She carefully disinfectedthe wound and bandaged it for Luke. Her heart was at her throat.
