“Thank you.” Luca felt her heart wrench again. It was as though her chest was wrapped up so tightlythat she could not breathe.
“Bye-bye, Ms. Luca.” Tommy was disappointed that he would not be eating Luca’s cooking tomorrow,but he did not throw a tantrum.
Luca waved her hand and said, “Bye, Tommy.”
After she watched them enter the elevator, she closed the door.
She sat on the couch again, opened the Twitter app on her phone, and searched for Tia’s account.Other than the statement, Tia had not posted any new updates or liked any replies.
