Bianca felt nothing when she heard Mavis' sour and accusatory tone.
No matter how much Mavis made it seem as though she was involved with Luke, it was all fiction.
Bianca trusted Luke and turned her head to look at him tenderly.
Luke looked at Mavis indifferently as he replied, Ms. Laviere, my wife is not interested in your kind ofbusiness meetings."

"Ms. Laviere, is T Corporation a company that I should be concerned about?" Although Steven hadheard of T Corporation, he was not aware of the details.
"Yeah." Mavis was upset. However, it was uncertain whether it was because of Luke's indifferencetoward her or because of what she said to him.
She knew the kind of person he was, but jealousy made her say something she should not have.
