Leia leaned against the ward bed, feeling bored as she watched the soap opera on the television.
She still had not been able to get into the VIP ward for the past few days. There was no news of theNorman family either.
For the others, no news was good news.

It had been so long since she heard from the Norman family. Therefore, Mr. and Mrs. Norman shouldbe fine. It was just that they were hiding in the VIP ward and avoiding her.

Just then, her phone rang.
Leia glanced at her phone. It was Mandy who called.

After Leia played the video, she was able to recognize the victim as Luca because the person who wasrecording the video stood not far away from her.
Then, a man angrily threw a bottle of sulfuric acid at Luca.
Leia held her breath. She was slightly disappointed when she saw that Luca managed to dodge theattack...
Luca actually dodged a bullet.
Luca was swift. Someone splashed acid on her, but she managed to dodge and save herself fromdisfigurement.
Leia gripped her phone tightly as her expression darkened.
What Mandy did not know was that she had recently hired a private investigator to check if Luca hadany enemies.
It only took a day for the private investigator to find Ambrose.
Thus, after learning the whole story, Leia found Ambrose and constantly encouraged him to takerevenge on Luca.
Hence, Ambrose planned to splash sulfuric acid at Luca on the day of the company dinner. He claimedthat his career life was already ruined, and he would never be able to find a job again. It did not matterif he was sent to prison.
Leia agreed to it and gave Ambrose some money so that he could leave some money to his parents.
Ambrose took the money, gave it to his parents, bought sulfuric acid through some industrial channels,and waited for the day of the dinner to strike.
To make things go smoothly, Leia even reminded Ambrose to bribe the security guards working at thehotel so that they would not stop him before the bottle of sulfuric acid was splashed at Luca.
However, she did not expect that things would turn out this way. The security guards stood there andwatched them at first. They did not stop Ambrose, and Luca easily dodged the acid that was splashedat her.
Leia turned off the video. She was fuming with anger.
Out of the corner of her eye, the caretaker noticed the expression on Leia's face and deliberatelyasked, "Ms. Norman, what's with the look on your face? Are you feeling sick? Do you need me to callthe doctor for you?"
"No," Leia muttered the words as she clenched her teeth.
Her plan failed. Luca was fine.

The caretaker saw the distressed look on her face and wondered what had happened. She looked likeshe had been scolded by someone. The look on her face was truly terrifying.
"You look awful," said the caretaker.
"It's none of your business!" Leia snapped. She glared at her and got out of bed, heading to thebathroom.
The patient next to Leia's bed could not help but say, "I've told you so many times before. Just ignoreher. No matter how much you care for her, she's gonna treat it as nothing. You're here to take care ofher. You don't have to care about her emotions. Next time, just leave her alone if she refuses to speak."
"I'm worried she'll faint,” replied the caretaker with a smile on her face.
Not only was Leia infamous for her bad temper in her ward but also in the entire department. Thedoctors and nurses were afraid of her.
Every time the doctor came to remind Leia that she could be discharged from the hospital, Leia wouldcurse and scold the doctor.
The doctors no longer wanted to urge her to leave the hospital now.
Even if they took in more patients and many of them had to stay in the corridor, the doctors did notconsider asking Leia to leave the hospital and make room for the other patients.
