Chapter 639

Grace frowned and looked at Alice. She could already feel Alice's nervousness without saying a word.

She paused and then looked at the approaching people.

Jovane smiled at first. Her gaze swept across Grace and she smiled at Alice. "What a coincidence.

Girl, we meet again," she said.

The moment Rosalie saw Alice, she couldn't hold back her anger. When she recalled what Jensen had

said to her that morning, she instantly flared up with anger.

"Why would I meet you no matter where I go? What bad luck."

Alice's face turned pale. She pursed her lips bitterly and clenched her bag with her pale hands. She

couldn't utter a word for a long time.

Jovane was also taken aback. She looked at Rosalie, her eyes warning her not to say anything

unpleasant.

Rosalie glanced at Grace, her attitude the same as before. "I've been having bad luck for the past few

days. I've lost all my luck after I met her."

Grace knew who this woman was without even asking.

This woman was really something else. Even with the best self- restraint, she would not have managed

to restrain herself from such a situation. If someone dared to say such a thing to her, she might be able

to endure it. But now, they dared to talk about Alice, which instantly made Grace furious.

She looked at Rosalie and took a step forward with a smile on her face. "Granny, with your old age, you

should take care of yourself when you come out shopping. The ground of the shopping mall is very

slippery. Don't fall down, otherwise you'd really be unlucky then."

"Granny?" Rosalie's eyes widened as she looked at Grace, her chest heaving in anger.

"Yes." Grace nodded seriously. "You look like you're in your seventies, right? We should call you

Granny. Alice, this lady looks very old so it's not appropriate to call her Auntie. I'll teach you; you should

call her Granny if she's so old. Also, if you meet this kind of granny, you should stay away from her."

Alice saw that Rosalie's face was turning pale, then red. Rosalie was obviously furious, but she couldn't

find the appropriate words to refute.

Jovane's eyes also widened. She hadn't expected someone to be able to make her sister- in- law,

Rosalie, grow speechless so easily.

A woman's biggest fear was being told that they looked old. As Jovanne regarded Grace, she found

that she still looked young, and she was good with words. She did not curse as she refuted Rosalie's

words, but her words were still as sharp a knife, hitting every sore spot.

Rosalie's expression fell as she grew more and more angry.

There was still a smile on Grace's face and the expression on her face was as calm as ever.

However, Jovane could tell that it was not that simple.

"Alice, who is this?" Jovane looked at Alice and asked.

"Auntie, this is my sister, Grace," Alice introduced Grace to Jovane.

Jovane was stunned for a moment and then laughed. "Oh, I see. No wonder she's so beautiful. So she

is your sister. She is as beautiful as you are."

"Thank you, Auntie," Grace answered naturally.

"Auntie, the granny beside you is getting old. You'd better be careful. She's old and hot-tempered. She

should eat some pickles as they can reduce her bad temper, blood sugar and even cure constipation."

Jovane held back her laughter as she almost burst out in laughter. She quickly nodded and replied,

"Thank you for your reminder, but you've misunderstood. She is the mother of Alice's boyfriend, not a

granny. You've skipped a generation."

"Alice's boyfriend's mother?" Grace pretended to be shocked. She glanced at Rosalie and apologized,

"Oh, I'm sorry, Granny. Oh, no, I'm sorry, Auntie. I misunderstood your age when

I saw your appearance."

Rosalie's expression turned livid.

"It's just a misunderstanding. No worries, it's okay," Jovane responded hurriedly.

"I'm really sorry." Grace glanced at Rosalie's expression as she spoke. "Auntie, I truly have a poor eye.

Please forgive me."

Rosalie couldn't say a word as she faced Grace. She couldn't lose her temper, so she swallowed her

anger.

When she was about to speak, Grace immediately said, "Auntie, did you give birth to Jensen when you

were very old?"

This gave Rosalie another fatal blow.

Her eyes widened.

In fact, Rosalie wasn't old at all. She was only in her fifties. Grace had said this on purpose.

Jovane sighed in her heart. It turned out that this girl had a very powerful sister. She could refute

Rosalie while staying calm, and she could make Rosalie speechless.

Alice thought that it was enough. Jensen's mother's face was already turning purple.

She stopped Grace and said, "Grace, let's go. We don't want to disturb the aunties who are going

shopping."

Grace was about to leave, but when she saw Rosalie's reaction, she turned to Jovane and asked,

"Auntie, who are you?"

"Oh, I'm Jensen's aunt," Jovane answered.

"Oh Auntie, you're very beautiful," Grace said with a smile. "You look kind and I can tell that you have a

great personality."

"I'm flattered." Jovane's eyes narrowed into a line. Every woman liked to be told she was beautiful andnovelbin

Jovane was no exception.

Rosalie grew even angrier. She casted a glance at Alice and was very displeased.

Of course, Grace noticed her gaze, but still she kept smiling. "Aunt Charm, Alice is dating Jensen now,

and she may become a family of yours in the future. I entrust our Alice to you."

"Hmph!" Rosalie immediately snorted, her tone filled with sarcasm.

When Grace heard this, she became angry immediately and added, "If you don't say anything, I will

take it that you have promised. You have to take good care of yourself and wait to see Alice and

Jensen's happiness for yourself!"

Rosalie's expression froze.

Grace then took the opportunity and said, "Well, Aunties, we have to go now and we don't want to

bother you from shopping."

"Okay, okay." Jovane said immediately, "You two go ahead."

Grace nodded and quickly left with Alice.

Alice was still as stiff as ever as she came out of the watch shop.

After taking care of the situation, Grace's face darkened and she said, "She's indeed a very difficult

woman to get along with. The words that I've said today must have angered her a lot."

"Her expression even changed," Alice remarked. "Grace, you are so amazing. You didn't even curse,

but you made her fall speechless."

"To put it bluntly, Jensen is good but I am angry that she had bullied and scolded you like that." Grace

also sighed and was very worried. "Come on, let's go and eat something delicious."

"Okay!"

In the watch shop, Rosalie waited until Grace and Alice had left before she gasped for air immediately.

Her chest heaved heavily.

"What the hell is this? She’s just a vixen!"

Jovane replied, "Rosalie, she didn't curse at all and was still smiling. It's not appropriate for you to say

that she's a vixen."

In a fit of anger, Rosalie roared, "Whose side are you on?"

Jovane answered, "Look at your situation now. Why didn't you get angry just now? You got angry after

they left, but they won't be able to see it."

Rosalie frowned and said, "Stop it, I'm going to die of anger right now."

Jovane, who had witnessed the whole process, sighed and stated, "Grace's character is very suitable

for being Jensen's wife. Alice is too naive, but when I saw that Grace is so strong, I'm not worried

anymore. On the contrary, I think that Alice can also be cultivated. Perhaps by then, she wouldn't die if

she becomes your daughter-in-law."
