Chapter 568

Charles Lowe, the eldest child of the Lowe family, looked at everyone. His gaze landed on the vase in

Grace's hand and he narrowed his eyes slightly.

Grace had not seen such an attitude but she sensed that there was no kindness in his narrowed eyes.

For some reason, he was very patient and restrained.

He didn't need to speak. Anyone who looked at him would know he came looking for trouble.

After a slight pause, he said, "Dad, since Aunt Marilyn is still your wife, you don't have to stop her from

entering our ancestral tomb. She's dead anyway. I think my mother can accept it."

When he finished, Grace felt extremely displeased.

His mother could accept it?

If his mother did not die, there was no need for the old man to remarry. Grandma's life became so

difficult and miserable because of it.

What Charles said made it seemed that her grandmother was an intruder, and she was not Master

Lowe's lawfully wedded wife.

The words that came out of Charles' mouth made it sound like they were the good guys doing some

charity.

Grace was amused. She smiled coldly and looked at Zachary.

Zachary frowned and his eyes were sharp. He said, "Uncle, you seem to have been mistaken."

"Oh?" The eldest son of the Lowe family raised his eyebrows and said, "Zachary, what have I

mistaken?" "My grandmother is my grandfather's lawfully wedded wife. Since Grandfather said that my

grandmother didn't officially divorce him, he is still his wife." Zachary enunciated each word clearly.

Charles frowned and looked at him with displeasure as he said, "Did I say that she wasn't?"

"Uncle, listen to me." Zachary said calmly and firmly, "I'm pretty sure that when my grandfather married

my grandmother, he didn't ask for your late mother's opinion. It's the same for this matter. Your mother's

opinion is not needed. Your mother is your grandfather's legal wife but my grandmother is not a

mistress. She is also his legal wife."

Charles looked embarrassed and frowned unpleasantly. He glanced at Zachary and said, "She's a

mistress as long as she was the remarried one. Zachary, you don't know much about that era."

"Uncle Charles." Zachary looked at him with a sharp gaze. "I don't know about you, but I do know about

history. Monogamy existed in that era. My grandmother is not a mistress."

Charles felt a little awkward, and his cheeks bulged. He was gritting his teeth. The veins on his face

were popping.

"Zachary," Charles said, "What's the point of arguing about this now? Your grandmother's ashes have

been brought back. We all advised your grandfather to place her in the ancestral tomb. It's good to be

on good terms with each other."

"Uncle, if what you are saying is true, I'll thank you first." Zachary said lightly, "But we don't need your

charity, and we don't need your permission."

"What's wrong with your attitude?" Charles asked in surprise, "Are you saying that you don't want your

grandmother to be buried in the ancestral tomb?"

"That's right." Zachary said, "My grandmother isn't interested in the ancestral tomb. She has been living

her entire life as she pleases. It's the same no matter where she goes."

"However, she had one last wish. She wanted to be with her son. She did not raise my father when she

was alive for various reasons, thus she wanted to be by her son's side."

"This was her long-cherished wish."

"Therefore, I intend to realize my grandmother's wish and move my father out of the ancestral tomb to

accompany my grandmother. We'll choose another cemetery."

"Isn't it better to enter the ancestral tomb? Your grandmother can also accompany your father there,

right?" Charles said, "We are a family. How can a family be separated?"

"I think it's better to be separated," Zachary said in a low voice. "Whether it's for principle or benefits, I

think it's best if we make it clear. After all, I don't want to get involved in the Lowe family's politics in the

future."

"Zachary." Charles said, "You are still a child of the Lowe family. There is no politics in the Lowe family.

I can't help but give you some words of advice after hearing what you said. By saying these in front of

your grandfather, aren't you deliberately picking a fight?"

Charles looked a little nervous and immediately turned his eyes to Master Lowe.

The old man frowned and looked at his eldest son as if he was suspecting something. He did not blink.novelbin

Although there was no change in his expression, the old man's eyes were as sharp as a goshawk. No

one dared to look directly into them.

Charles lowered his head under his father's gaze. He didn't dare to look at his father any longer.

Zachary looked at them calmly and then said lightly, "Uncle, I didn't say that I'm not a child of the Lowe

family. I know that I'm a child of my parents."

"As for whether the Lowe family has politics or not, I'm sure you know it best, Uncle. There isn't a need

for me to challenge the fact, is there?"

"Anyway, Grandpa won't believe my words. Why are you being so anxious?"

"Zachary," Charles raised his voice immediately and said impatiently, "I'm getting a little angry by what

you said. Why don't you tell me what's the problem you have with the Lowe family? What politics are

there?"

Zachary smiled slightly and said, "Uncle, why are you so anxious? You know that I only do things if I

have a good chance of winning. My arrangement for my grandmother's ashes and the Lowe family

today is solely because of my confidence. I have evidence. Otherwise, I would not have said anything."

Charles was so scared that his face turned pale. His face looked colorless. He couldn't help but take a

step back and looked up at Zachary.

"You... you!"

Zachary's lips lifted with a cold smile. He looked at Charles with a deep look, "Uncle, why did you stop

talking?"

"Zachary," Charles was flustered by his words. He reached up and touched his collar as if to loosen

himself up. "I am your uncle. Your father respected me a lot since your father was brought up by me."

"Uncle Charles, please don't coerce me with your morality." Zachary said, "I didn't say anything. I'm

surprised to hear you say that. Are you guilty of something?"

The eldest son of the Lowe family looked even more embarrassed. "Zachary, I've watched you grow

up. How can you do this?"

Zachary smiled slightly and his eyes fell on Grandma's ashes. He walked over and took the ashes from

Grace's hands.

He changed the topic instantly and said in a deep voice, "Please leave. We haven't finished eating and

you've interrupted us. It's not the right way to treat our guests."

"We can't leave now." Charles looked anxiously at his father and asked, "Dad, this matter has not been

resolved yet, right?"

Master Lowe glanced at Zachary and asked, "Are you going to kick me out?"

Zachary looked firmly at him and said, "Any person who disturbs my grandmother should leave."

Master Lowe looked Zachary up and down, and there was a touch of sadness in his eyes. "Your

grandmother is still my woman."

"So what?" Grace said coldly.

"When alive, her body belongs to me. When dead, she is my ghost. I should be the one dealing with

her ashes." Master Lowe said coldly, "No one else has the rights."
