Chapter 396

Heinz was at a loss. He stared at the two little ones entering the kindergarten together and reached out

to held Grace in his arms.

"Did you hearthat, Grace?1'

"Hmm?" Grace reached out to push him and uttered, "This is a kindergarten. Let me go."

"So what?" he could not help saying arrogantly, "You are my woman and I like to hold you."

Grace flushed.

Little Gary and Ernest waved at them at the entrance of the kindergarten.

Grace immediately waved back at them too.

The children disappeared into the building.

Grace asked, "What did you say to him just now?"

"No matter what I said, he finally agreed to us dating each other. Did you hear him?"

Grace instantly replied, "I didn't."

"Playing dumb?" Heinz smiled and continued, "Don’t you play dumb. I don't want to hear that from you!

We're dating, dating!"

"I'm going to work." Grace was not going to go crazy with him.

Heinz locked both of his hands on Grace's waist and said with a yearning look, "Grace, the children are

desperately hoping that we can get together."

Grace did not speak. She just stared at him and helped him to tidy up his clothes.

Heinz asked, "When would you move to my place?"

"Let's wait a little longer," Grace replied, "The children need a sense of security, not rash or immature

decisions we make impulsively."

Heinz was taken aback but understood what she meant. He nodded and uttered, "Okay, let's go. I'll

take you to work."

Therefore, Heinz sent Grace to work personally.

When they arrived at the newspaper office, Grace told him, "You should go. I'm going to start work and

I'll be very busy today!"

"I'll pick you up at noon. Let's have lunch together," Heinz suggested.

"I don't have the time. Go ahead and enjoy yourself." Grace would be really busy at noon.

She opened the car door and was about to get out of the car.

Heinz grabbed Grace's wrist and asked, "Are you leaving just like that?"

"Why?" Grace asked in surprise.

They would be apart for a whole day, yet she left without even giving him a kiss.

Heinz was dissatisfied!

He unbuckled his seat belt, leaned over to closed the car door. He pressed Grace against the back of

the seat and lowered his head.

Grace did not expect him behave like this.

She reached out to push him away out of reflex.

"Heinz, stop it."

However, how could he let go of Grace? He kissed her lips and whispered in a hoarse voice, "I will

regret it if I don't."

Grace wanted to dodge him, but she was trapped in her seat and she could not move.

The two of them had a lengthy goodbye kiss at the entrance of the newspaper office.

Grace was a little annoyed. She panted as she exclaimed, "You ruined my makeup!"

Heinz glanced at her and said, "You're not wearing any makeup, so how could I ruin your makeup?"

Grace was speechless.

In fact, she had just applied some face cream and did not put on any makeup.

Heinz said cheekily, "I'm putting lipstick on for you, actually... You should thank me."

Grace retorted, "No."

"You're mine and I can kiss you or hug you if I want to. My son told me to win your heart as soon as

possible."

What an unreasonable man! He even did this in the name of his son.

Grace listened to his domineering voice. Every word revealed how oppressive yet clingy he was, and

she was unsure to laugh or cry out of exasperation.

She took a deep breath and asked, "Can I go now?"

"Go ahead." He was reluctant to part with her and he could only reply sulkily, "Go ahead."

Grace got off the car without looking back, afraid that her face would flush redder.

Behind her, Heinz stared at her back and muttered discontentedly, "You didn't even look back or show

any sign of reluctance. You forgot about me after you're done with me. Such a heartless woman."

Grace entered the newspaper office and was immediately called into the editor's room by Hermione.

Grace found it strange that Hermione was looking for her so early in the morning. She asked in

surprise, "Editor Lowe, what's the emergency?"

Hermione seemed extremely nosy and she eyed Grace up and down.

Grace felt uneasy and asked, "Editor Lowe, why are you looking at me like that?"

"I'll trying to check if your hormones are in place," Hermione smiled and said jokingly.

Grace's face flushed and she said, "Yes, it's that time of the month, so my estrogen level should be

quite high."

"Pff..." Hermione laughed loudly and asked, "Well, I guess Mr. Jones needs to sleep on his own."

Grace's face was redder and she exclaimed, "Hermione!" "Alright, let me get down to business."

"Yes!"

"Grace, I watched a video yesterday." "What video?" Grace was a little surprised and she asked, "Who

is in the video?"

"It's yours."

"Mine?" Grace was taken aback.

"In the mall, you declared that your man is a thousand times better, and then, Heinz appeared!"

"Ah!" Grace was dumbfounded. She asked, "Editor Lowe, is that on the news?"

"Yes." Hermione nodded and continued, "Someone posted it on the entertainment news at night. I think

it won't be long for the whole Northern City to know that you're Heinz's woman."

Grace was taken aback and she muttered, "There's really a news?"

"You can check it out on the website."

Grace immediately took out her mobile phone and searched for Heinz.

As expected, the video appeared.

The comments that followed were frightening.

"Is this the woman that Heinz treasured for a long time? Isn't she Miss Smith from Sunny Group? I

heard that she was knocked up before marriage and she was kicked out of her family."

Rumors circulated in the comments, and they were alarming.

A chill ran down Grace's spine.

She dared not continue reading the comments.

Hermione uttered, "I knew that you would feel this way."

Grace snapped back to her senses and stared at Hermione hesitantly.

Hermione continued, "Grace, I'm telling the truth but you're mentally weak. You went cold and numb by

just reading the comments. You're at a loss, aren't you?"

"Well, I am," Grace replied, "I'm just not sure what to do..." Usually, she was the one who interviewed

others and it was uncomfortable when she became the target of the news!

"Listen to me. You don't need to care about it."

"I wish I could but I can't do it," Grace frowned and uttered helplessly, "Why do I feel that troubles are

coming for me?"

"Grace, don't care about it," Hermione pointed out, "You should get used to your new life in the spotlight

since you have chosen to be with Heinz."

Grace was taken aback.

Hermione continued, "Because Heinz is not an ordinary person. He is an extremely successful young

entrepreneur!"

"Hermione!"

"You have a child, don't you?" Hermione asked.

Grace paused and nodded.

"Heinz's?"

There was a silence and Grace nodded. "Yes."

"Then what are you afraid of?" Hermione was very confident as she explained, "Look, you have Heinz's

son and now you're with Heinz too. Heinz is not a stepfather, but actually the biological father of your

child. You two are a match made in heaven, so why do you have to care about what others think?"novelbin

Grace suddenly felt better after listening to Hermione's remarks.

She nodded and replied, "Hermione, I feel much better after hearing what you said but I'm just worried

that it would hurt my child."
