Chapter 269

Alice knew that she was no match for him, but for Grace and Little Gary's sakes, she could not let

Heinz know about them.

If Heinz knew about Little Gary, he would probably claim child custody. And given his background, he

would probably get his way.

She was worried that Grace would be separated from Little Gary.

This was the last thing she wanted.

Now that she was threatened by Jensen, she was no match for him at all. She couldn't compete with

him in terms of strength, nor was she capable of defeating him with martial arts.

Now she could only admit defeat. Jensen was much stronger and skillful than her.

"Say something," Jensen said. He could see that her face was filled with mixed emotions.

He was getting anxious and said again, "Say something. Don't be quiet."

It was not until this moment that Alice looked into his eyes.

"...I'll be your girlfriend," she said.

After saying this, Alice felt relieved unexpectedly.

She felt her rage from earlier was cooling down.

Jensen was exhilarated. He stared at her lips and said, "Do you really agree to be my girlfriend?"

"Yes," Alice went all out and said, "Your threat works. I'll promise this to you, but you have to keep your

end of the deal."

"I won't tell him," Jensen nodded with a smile. "I promise you that I won't mention a word about it."

"Swear on it.” It wasn't that she didn't trust him, but she was too worried and just wanted to get

affirmation from him.

After all, Jensen had a sly look on him.novelbin

"Fine, I'll swear." He said, "I swear that if I can't do it, I will die a terrible death."

"No," said Alice.

"No?" Jensen blinked his eyes and was speechless. "I've already sworn on my life, is it still not okay?"

"Swear that if you ever break your promise, you'll be impotent for the rest of your life," she said.

Jensen was dumbfounded.

He stared at Alice with wide eyes and said helplessly, "Okay, I promise that I won't tell Heinz."

"No, you can't tell anyone." She said again, "You have to bring it to the grave with you."

"Okay," Jensen agreed without hesitation.

"Good," Alice nodded. "So that's a deal."

"Are you done?" he asked.

Alice nodded.

"So now you are officially my girlfriend, am I right?" he lowered his gaze and looked at her.

Alice pursed her lips and said, "Get up guickly."

"Why don't you admit it?" Seeing her averting his gaze, he immediately protested.

"Fine, fine. I'm your girlfriend. Get up."

"Since you're my girlfriend, then we should do what a couple would normally do," he said while

pressing her down.

Alice exclaimed, "Jensen!"

The next moment, her voice couldn't be heard anymore.

She was overwhelmed with shock.

So was Jensen. He didn't expect that their relationship had advanced markedly in such a short time

and now he would be kissing her.

"It feels so good," he thought to himself.

Jensen stared at her intensely. They were so close to each other that they could see themselves in

each other's eyes.

Naturally, Alice was mad and tried to bite him, but he kissed her even deeper.

At that moment, she was blown away.

She couldn't believe that he would be acting so effectively right after she had agreed.

Her expression was indescribable.

But she didn't hate it.

Instead of feeling uncomfortable, she was just in a shock and laid frozen.

For a moment, Alice forgot that she had wanted to fight back and she just let his lips pressing on her.

When she came to her senses, her eyes suddenly turned sharp and she kicked him hard.

Jensen finally let go of her.

He got up and looked at her with a flame flickering in his eyes, "Not bad, huh. You're officially mine,

Alice Smith."

Still blushing, Alice glanced at him, jumped out of bed quickly and went straight to the door.

"Are you going out just like that? Your face is blushing now. Grace would be suspicious," Jensen said.

Alice stopped instantly and turned to glare at him.

She hesitated because she really had no idea how to explain that she now had a boyfriend.

Jensen walked over and put his hand on hers, which was still on the doorknob.

Alice immediately withdrew her hand.

He smiled and said, "Don't be nervous. I'll open the door."

"Don't! Give me two minutes." She needed to sort out her emotions.

Jensen smiled and obeyed.

It was a day full of surprises. He felt that every cloud has a silver lining.

"Take your time," he said.

Alice pursed her lips and didn't look at him. She lowered her head, her cheeks burning redder.

In his room, Little Gary was staring at a photo on his computer and frowning.

Grace pushed the door open and came in. She startled when she found out that Gary was looking at a

photo of Heinz.

"Little Gary, where did you get this photo from?" she asked.

"Mommy, it's not that difficult to find a photo," Gary replied.

Grace paused. There was a complicated look in her eyes. "You wish to meet him, don't you?"

"Not exactly." He said, "I just don't like being ignored."

Grace opened her mouth but no words came out.

Gary said, "He conceived me without telling me, and now it's been nearly six years, he doesn't even

know my existence. I'm just a little pissed off."

"It's my bad," Grace said guietly.

"Yeah, I can tell," Little Gary said. "You're not that efficient in doing things."

Grace knew what was on Gary's mind, but it still irritated her when she saw him looking at Heinz's

photo.

"Don't be hard on yourself, Mommy. I don't blame you." He looked at Grace and held her hand, "I will

protect you."

Grace felt warmed by his gesture, but there was still bitterness in her heart. She clenched Gary's hand

and said, "Little Gary, we're not suitable for each other. But no matter what, he is still your father. If you

really hope to meet him, go ahead. I'll find the right time to tell him." "Do you mean that you won't be

with him?" His little face frowned.

"No, I won't."

It would only be painful for each other if they forced themselves to be together.

Little Gary lifted his eyes and looked at her seriously. He nodded, thought for a moment, and said,

"Okay, I understand. I respect your decision, mommy."

Upon hearing it, Grace breathed a sigh of relief and said, "Hurry up and get ready for dinner."

"Okay," he nodded.

Then Grace left the room.

Little Gary sat at his desk and began typing on the computer. Next to him was a dictionary, which was

used to check the words that he didn't know.
