Chapter 249

Jensen burst out laughing. He didn't expect a cute little boy like him to be talking about flirting of all

things.

"Little guy, you haven't told me your name yet."

"You haven't answered my question either." Gary stared at him. He looked so smart with his big

cunning eyes.

"Well, it's to impress girls." Jensen didn't bother to hide anything from the mischievous boy. "My

colleague said that it's easier to attract girls' attention by wearing uniforms."

"Tut-tut-tut--" Gary sighed with a regretful look. He looked at Jensen and said, "You are clearly not

having confidence in yourself. Even if you wear a uniform, you can't attract girls with good personalities

if you're lacking self-confidence."

"Gh!" Jensen was stunned for a moment.

The child's words were on point.

Although it was not very pleasant to hear, it seemed to make sense.

There was nothing he could say to refute it.novelbin

"You actually look good." Gary looked at him from head to toe. "If only you're confident enough.

Wearing uniforms to impress girls? It's just too dumb."

"Oh..." Jensen laughed again. He found it funny that his problems were being pointed out by this little

one. Fascinated, he said, "Little guy, why don't you teach me some of your tricks?"

"Come over." Gary crooked his little finger.

Jensen was puzzled. "What's that?"

"Stupid!" Little Gary frowned, his actions clearly resembling Heinz Jones.

Jensen gaped at him.

"What kind of girls do you want to impress?" Seeing Jensen's clueless face, Gary spelled it out to him.

"Oh..." Jensen quickly came to his senses and said with a smile, "She is a girl who I hurt deeply many

years ago. Even now she resents me."

"Once bitten, twice shy." Gary pouted his lips and said, "Your chance for reconciliation is pretty small."

Having been blown away by him, Jensen said, "What are you saying, kid?"

Jensen found it unbelievable that the kid was showing maturity well beyond his age.

"I was saying the truth," Gary replied. He lifted his head and fixed his eyes on Jensen's. "Do you have a

child?" He asked in a serious tone.

With a complicated look on his face, Jensen blurted out, "Child? What child?"

"Well..." Gary shrugged and continued, "There is no chance for reconciliation if you don't have a child

with her. After hurting her ages ago, now you want to win her back? Do you expect her to come back to

you while you are wearing your uniform as a way to hide your complete lack of self-confidence?"

Jensen was speechless.

He couldn't hold his head up after hearing what the kid said.

"You don't have much confidence, do you? What makes you think that the girl will reconcile with you if

you're like that?" Gary looked at him with clear eyes. "Am I right?"

Silence. Nothing came out from Jensen's mouth.

"It seems that you have already figured out the outcome." Little Gary pouted, "Since fate brings us

together, why don't I give you a suggestion?"

"What suggestion do you have?" Jensen asked.

Proudly, Gary said, "Just force yourself upon her!"

Jensen was dumbstruck.

"Women love domineering men," the kid said nonchalantly, as if this was a fact of life.

Just like mommy, who adored Heinz so much that she was willing to suck venom out of his snakebite.

What attracted her was his dominance.

Jensen let out a smile while shaking his head, "Kid, where did you learn all this? Where are your

parents?"

"They are bonding while risking their lives," Gary said.

"How are they risking their lives?"

"My mommy risked her life for my overbearing father."

"Oh. I see."

"It was nice talking to you. I'll have to go now." Gary looked at him and said, "Go ahead and buy some

hotdogs. I bought one. It looks delicious."

"Oh, okay." Jensen nodded. Feeling slightly dejected, he asked, "What's your name, kid?"

"Gary," Gary replied. "Maybe we'll meet again someday. Bye!"

After that, he politely waved his hand and went looking for his Little Aunt.

At this point, Alice was buying watermelon.

Gary walked over and grasped her dress. "Little Aunt, I bought a hotdog."

"Oh, are you hungry?" Alice took it from him.

"No, I just thought you would like it." He continued, "You look like you're sick of being single. So I

thought this might cheer you up."

"Ah..." Alice was taken aback. "Gary, don't say this to your auntie."

"I wouldn't care if you're not my auntie," Little Gary said as he looked around. "Let's go back. I'm a little

hungry."

"Okay, I'm almost done. Let's go."

They proceeded to pay and just when they were leaving, Alice turned around and vaguely spotted a

man wearing a police uniform standing in line at the counter.

She was in a trance for a moment, then calmed down to take a clearer look. It was Jensen Charm.

Her face froze and she quickly grabbed Gary and said, "Gary, hurry up." "Little Aunt?" Gary was

confused. "Why are you in such a rush? Is there a ghost behind?" "Of course not. It's just that I'm

hungry too," Alice said. "Come on. Let's go."

The two of them left hastily.

Jensen got back to his car and pulled out his phone to give Heinz a call.

"Heinz, do you know it?"

"Know what?" Heinz said in a deep voice, "If you have something to say, just say it."

"Fine," Jensen said. "I saw a child who looks just like you. He is very smart, just like Ernest. But I would

say he takes after you more than Ernest does."

"So what?" Heinz said impatiently, "What's wrong with someone looking like me?"

"Just wondering, do you happen to have a secret child somewhere?" Jensen said, "Think about it."

Growing impatient, Heinz frowned and said, "Can you just stop, Jensen."

"Believe me. It's true. I've really seen him."

"Impossible. That's ridiculous." Heinz said in a deep voice and hung up the phone.

However, after hanging up the phone, he fell into silence. His gaze was far off, and his eyes were full of

emotions.

Grace saw it and asked, "Heinz, what's wrong?"

Heinz suddenly came to his senses and turned to look at Grace awkwardly. He shook his head and

said, "Oh.. It's nothing."

"You seem to have something on your mind," Grace

said.

Heinz hesitated for a moment and said, "Grace, I'm going to ask you something hypothetical."

"Go ahead."

"If you find out that I have a secret child, will you still be with me?"
