Chapter 1920

Norval's eyes darkened. He looked at his phone and said, "Go get me checked out."

"Young Master Norval, are we leaving now?" The other person was shocked.

"Let's go!"

After he hung up the phone, Norval grabbed his suit jacket and walked out in only a cotton shirt.

When they arrived downstairs, there was a man in a suit who greeted him respectfully. "Young Master Norval, are we going back to the company or should we return to Northern City?"

"Let's go back to Northern City," Norval said in a low voice.

The two left in a hurry.

At the same time, Ernest's cell phone rang. The message that came through said, "Norval and his assistant have just left the hotel and gone straight to the airport."

At the news, Ernest smiled.

Leah noticed Ernest's strange smile and could not help but ask, "What's wrong with you? Why are you smiling so weirdly?"Contents belong to NovelDrama.Org

"It's nothing." Ernest continued smiling ambiguously. "What do you think I'm smiling at?"

Leah was stunned. Just as she was about to get up from bed, she was pressed back down onto the bed.

She was stunned yet again.

Ernest let out a low, melodious chuckle that was filled with dark intentions.

Leah instantly understood what Ernest was up to.

She immediately pushed Ernest away and stopped him from moving closer.

"I can't do it anymore. If I come again, I'll pass out. I won't be able to do anything else afterward. You can't mean for me to spend all day in bed, right?"

Hearing this, Ernest paused and looked at his watch. It was eight o'clock in the morning and the weather outside was great.

They should go out for a walk.

"I'll take you out once we're done. It's still a bit cold outside. We'll go out when the sun comes out." Ernest felt that he had already made the appropriate arrangements. He could take care of his needs and simultaneously take care of their health as well if they stayed in for a little longer. Leah rolled her eyes, rendered speechless by his reasoning. She had a feeling that by the time they went out, it would be noon.

Or perhaps, the sun would've started to set already.

She knew how amazing Ernest's stamina was.

"No, no, no! Let's go downstairs for breakfast." Leah shook her head. "I'm not strong enough to handle another round. We haven't gone out once throughout this trip! We can't just spend our time here in bed. Do you expect me to only have memories of our time in bed together once you've returned to London?"

If sleeping together was the only thing they did...

Ernest's eyes darkened when he heard that. He smiled deviously. "Don't you think these memories are great?"

Leah's face turned red immediately.

It was not a matter of the memories were great or not. Such memories were simply too embarrassing!

After Ernest arrived the day before, they had already spent the entire day in bed together.

His stamina was astonishing. Leah felt that he had completely drained her energy.

"No, I really can't take anymore, Ernest," Leah begged, "Let's go out, okay?"

Ernest had wanted to stay in bed longer but when he saw how cute Leah looked when she whined, he found this incredibly feminine side of her really enticing. He could only sigh while he looked at Leah helplessly.

"Alright, I'll let you go this time. But you won't escape tonight." Ernest stared deeply into her eyes, then got up.

Finally, Leah was free! She quickly got up and ran to the bathroom to wash up and change into a new outfit.

Fifteen minutes later, she came out fully dressed and brimming with energy. She stood in front of Ernest and said, "Let's go, we can set off now."

Ernest had already dressed up. Holding her hand, the two of them walked out of the hotel together.

They visited several local attractions, just like any other couple in love. They held hands, nestled close together, and would kiss from time to time. They spent the next three days like that. Other than that, they spent their time in bed...

As such, Leah's waist was constantly sore and her knees turned to jelly. Even though it was very uncomfortable, she enjoyed it.

They got a car to drive themselves back.

Ernest drove at a leisurely speed, with intention of hurrying the journey.

On the other hand, the girl that was kept awake all night was exhausted to the point where all she wanted to do was sleep.

She leaned back listlessly in the passenger seat.

Ernest glanced at her several times, smiling dotingly at her from time to time.

Midway through the drive, Leah received a call from her editor.

She was stunned and quickly picked up. "Hello?"

"Reaper, I think you should continue writing your book," the editor said weakly.

Leah was stunned to hear that. "Isn't someone else writing it already?"

"Don't even talk about that. They stopped three days ago." On the other side, the editor complained helplessly, "I knew this was coming. When he said that he didn't want any money, there was no way I could get I him to sign a contract to bind him to Us Now that he's stopped writing, we can't do anything about it."

Leah was also surprised. "Did something go wrong? The other person can't possibly leave just like that! There must be a reason, right?"

"His phone's off," the editor said, "I called him but I couldn't get in touch with him at all. God knows what happened."

"Are you heartbroken?" Leah said, "Did your love go missing?"

The editor sneered and said, 'Til love whoever I want. But Reaper, I really need your help. Can you please resume the book for me?"

"Why are you coming to me with this again?" Leah complained dispiritedly, "I don't have time for that."

"You've made a fortune from these books," the editor said, "Don't forget that I've already sent you the monthly draft fee for the book. It's your responsibility too."

"I don't have time to write anymore."

Even though she was on her semester break, she was still busy She had to study and prepare for the upcoming examinations. She had to work hard so that she wouldn't need to depend on Ernest all the time. Content belongs to NovelDrama.Org

No matter what, she thought that women had to work and make a career for themselves.

It was one of her basic principles.

"I don't care. If you don't write it, I'll

sue you," the editor said over the phone, "You know that your book's copyright has been sold, right? You're getting paid so much already. If you leave the book unfinished, it'll be considered a flop. If you don't write well, the website could sue you." Content belongs to

Leah frowned. She was a law student and was well aware of the law.

She thought for a moment and replied, "You guys were the ones who found the writer, not me. I didn't recommend them to you or anything. Now that the writer has ghosted you, I'm sorry to tell you that looking for me won't work either."

When Ernest heard those words, the corner of his mouth twitched unconsciously.

He forgot that he hadn't written anything these past few days.

While in Northern City, whenever Leah fell asleep, he would get out of bed in the middle of the night and start writing a few chapters for an hour or

two.

However, since Leah acted out, he dropped everything to chase after her. His writing gig was completely forgotten!
