Chapter 1875

After returning home, Grace shut herself in her rcom and did not come out for a long while. When Heinz came back, he asked the butler where she was. Eventually, he found out that Grace was in their room.

It seemed that she had locked herself in their room after coming back from the school. He asked in surprise, "Has she locked herself in there sinceshe got back? Did she not come out for anything else?”

The butler nodded and said, "Yes, Madam Grace looked really solemn when she got back. She locked herself in the room as soon as she came back.I tried talking to her as well, but she looked really out of it. She told me to stop disturbing her."

After hearing that, Heinz immediately straightened up and quickly made his way upstairs.

When Heinz opened the door to the bedroom, he saw Grace sitting on the bed. She had a hand on her belly, and was flipping through a photo albumon her lap with the other.

Heinz quietly walked over and caught sight of the photo albums. He soon realized that Grace was looking at photos of Sebastian and Sylvia fromwhen they were younger.

Her gaze was fixed on a particular photo of herself and Sylvia. In that photo, Sylvia was wearing a white dress that had a huge stain of chocolate onit

That stain made the whole dress look dirty.Grace looked at the photo of her daughter with a serious frown on her face.Heinz wasn't sure whether Grace was looking at herself in the photo or Sylvia

As he was a little uncertain, he only looked at Grace quietly. Hesitantly, he asked, "These are pictures of Sebastian and Sylvia from when they wereyounger, aren't they? Why are you looking through them all of a sudden? Did you go to the school? How was it? What did the teacher say?"

Hearing his voice, Grace looked up and said, "Tell me honestly. Do you really appreciate our daughter and son's talents?"

"Of course I do." Heinz shrugged his shoulders and continued, "But my requirements for our sons are more strict. I don't dote on them as muchbecause I want them to grow up by themselves. I want them to make their own mistakes and learn from them."

Grace smiled wryly. It seemed that Heinz educated their children differently. She was the same as well. Both of them treated their children differently.Perhaps it was because they had toc many children. They had to devise different methods to teach their children.

Even though they tried their best to educate their children the same way, there would more or less be some differences in the way they treated theirchildren. As such, their children would eventually turn out to have different personalities as they grew up in different environments.

Grace forced out a smile. At that moment, Heinz instantly understood how his wife was feeling. Something seemed off.

"What's wrong with you? Didn't everything go well at school? Did the teacher say something about you?" Heinz was a sensitive man. He paid a lot ofattention to his wife's every move, so he instantly picked up that something must have happened.

Heinz looked at Grace in confusionGrace shook her head. "lt was nothing. Mr. Trevino is very kind. He's a young genius. He really hit the nail on the head.""So, what have you decided?" Heinz asked hesitantly.

Grace paused for a moment and replied, "I'm going to allow Sylvia to live on campus next year. I'm going to have a lengthy conversation with her andallow her to choose for herself. If she wants to live in the school dorms, I'l allow it."

Heinz couldn't help but ask, "That's the conclusion you've reached after talking to the teacher?”

Grace nodded.and replied sincerely,"Yes, I don't think I have what it takesto properly educate her. I might've ~made some mistakes. However, INknow that our daughter knows Whatshe wants and needs. I think it mightbehest to give her the space togrow by herself." Contentbelongs toNovelDrama.Org

Upon hearing this, Heinz was stunned for a long moment. He was a little confused by Grace's thought process. He looked at his wife with a flicker of doubt in his eyes and asked, "What did Kendrix say to you? Did he give you a fright?""No." Grace shook her head. "He just told me that he appreciated Sylvia."

"Then why do you look so solemn?" Before, Heinz could not even convince his wife to be more tolerant of Sylvia's behavior. He was a bit shockedthat a few words from Kendrix had successfully convinced her.

"I was just reflecting on my past behavior." Grace continued to look through the photo album.

She found that she locked anxious in many of the photos. Her brows were almost always furrowed. It was normal for children to be playful, but shefound that whenever Sylvia was playing a prank, Grace always frowned at her.

Upon contemplation, it seemed that Grace had never been tolerant of Sylvia's behavior. As long as Sylvia had played a prank, she would alwaysreprimand her with a frown.

Overtime, it had become a conditioned reflex.

After she finished looking through the photo album, Heinz looked at Grace for a long moment and said, "l don't think Sylvia should live in the schooldorms."

After a short pause, Grace looked up at Heinz and said, "Tell me the reason."

"She is still a teenager, so she's going through her rebel phase. I think our house is much better than what they can offer in the school dorms. Ourhouse is definitely in better condition.” Heinz retorted.

Grace nodded. "It's not a matter of condition. Maybe she just likes the feeling of living in the school dorms.”

"That won't hald for long." Heinzcontinued, "I @on't think Sylvia willlike living in imine school dorms for.long. Shewil be tired of living therein a few~days. I don't think she NOshouletbe allowed to live in the”school dorms next semester” Itwould be more comfortable to live athome than somewhere unfamiliar.”Content belongs to NovelDrama.Org

"Let's ask Sylvia for her opinion later, alright?" After careful consideration, Grace decided.

Heinz thought-for a moment andsaid, "Alright:tl go and ask for heropinion then I think she'll definitely >want to > Stay at home. Having OFexperienced the school forms for ashorfwhile should be enough. SheWort like it for long.” Content

She nodded and remained silent"What exactly did Kendrix say?" Heinz askedContents belong to NovelDrama.Org

Grace glanced at him and said, "He said that our children will never stop loving us no matter what. But it might eventually wear them out and causethem to stop loving themselves.”

Heinz looked at Grace in surprise and frowned. "How heart-wrenching."

It really was.

Grace felt the same way.

Grace smiled and said, "l know."

Heinz sat next to Grace and picked up the photo album to look through photos of Sebastian and Sylvia

Heinz sighed. "They grow up so fast, don't they? Seon enough, they're going to leave us to chase their dreams. We won't be able to catch up toSylvia when the time comes.”

Grace was stunned.

"Just like Ernest and Gary. Now that they have found their other half, they are no longer around as much anymore." Heinz sighed. "We're getting old.”
